Weekly Update: Things just keep working out (Patreon)

Hey Saucy ones,
We've overcome the trials of April!
So first off, the GPU replacement went great. So far this fresh 3090 is taking anything I can throw at it like a champ and on top of that my PC runs even faster now since I took the time to do a clean install of my OS since I was taking the PC apart anyway and now my computer boots off an Nvme drive. We are back to full operation again!
Full operation means back to making videos and the next video is gonna be Skin Deep as so many of you were asking for. I got a head start on playing the game Monday once I was sure everything was working with my PC over the weekend and I should have it out on YouTube by Saturday. I'm not sure when that'll be for you though. Also, this one WILL have a cooking segment as I have so many of those banked now.
This also means that streams can be a thing again which will be great for collecting footage for upcoming videos. The only real hurdle there is that I gotta set up my overlay all over again which feels a bit silly as I'll probably be buying a professional one when Twitch finally pays out for all the subs. Whatever, I still gotta get those browsersources set up.
On the Note of Halloween in July:
We're getting close, and that's just making me feel a bit more frantic. I know I'll be able to do the core 4 despite none of the videos being "finished". this is in part because I didn't know how the apron situation was gonna work but i have some great news: thanks to my efforts I now own ALL of the components I need to make the aprons right at home which means that not only do I not have to pay any fees to use someone else's equipment. In fact, just before I got home and started writing this I paid off the layaway on my heat press several months ahead of schedule and took home the last tool I needed, BEHOLD!
With this beast of a heat press and the new printer I showed off last week I can now make designs as big as 13"x19". the Aprons are gonna be 11"X17" (A3 for everyone outside of the US)
The real benefit of this is that now that I am in control of my entire production pipeline I am also now in control of sourcing all my materials. Previously I was only allowed to use stuff that the makerspace wanted to use on their machinery which was nice and they were kind enough to sell it to me at cost, but it was still pricey. After finding my own suppliers where I can buy direct in bulk for stuff like transfer sheets, ink, and also finding a new supplier for aprons it now costs me less than the price per unit of my old aprons for all the things involved in a completed apron. I haven't ordered the patches yet but i think I'm gonna finalize the design next week and place the order the week after. (In case you didn't know while I used to do the patches by hand, I found out it was cheaper dollar for dollar to have someone else make them for me).
Another thing that's going well for me is that thanks to the PC going boom in the process of learning how to back up my stuff I learned how to edit my scripts from my phone so I can do that wherever which is gonna really help with speeding things along. I'm hoping to finish-finish two or even three of the HiJ videos this month and then we'll be golden in June with the patches, aprons, videos, and maybe that surprise item too.
That's all for now, stay saucy everyone!
