Weekly Update: A Referendum, Abiotic Factor, and A Rather Disappointing Challenge Run (Patreon)

I have to pay the scritch tax now whenever I want to put away my dirty laundry

Hey Saucy Ones,

There is an Ongoing Referendum

So if you haven't already, make sure to go vote in the Zomboid Referendum. In case you missed it, While the ya'll voted for project zomboid for the most recent patron video, I have utterly bounced off it every time. Yes, I have watched and read tutorials. Yes, I have played on the experimental branch. Yes, I have used sandbox difficulty to smooth out the difficulty cliff. The game just doesn't gel with me and the video I'd make about it would be more a criticism than the glazing some might expect.

Here's the post with the vote

The Vote's staying open for the rest of the month and then we'll decide if we need a redo. If anything this is a lesson for me in that I need to to make sure I maintain a right of refusal on Patron suggestions and make sure that the things we are voting on are things that I am actually knowledgeable about and can reliably make a video about (one time someone suggested a video about Neopets and like, what the hell do I know about that? I was a Newgrounds kid.)

None of this really matters for a while though because I'm not even going to start on the Zomboid video or it's replacement until after Halloween in July is Done.

Onto more pressing matters...

More of the same. I'm plugging away at Abiotic Factor and just sort of going through the motions of finishing the DLC run of FNV. Honestly the FNV stuff is so boring I have no regrets about not recording as I play before getting to the battle of hoover dam because I'm just so overpowered. I 1-shotted by way through Deathclaw Promontory to grab the enclave power armor. The video for this one is gonna be a lot shorter than the main run because the power creep is just insane

Abiotic Factor's coming along fine. I'm knocking out pages of script whenever I get the chance and fingers crossed I'll at least have it in the editing stage by the end of the month. It all depends on if I decide to focus on FNV's DLC run first of this.

No idea what I'm streaming this week, But I'll try to be on at the promised times.

That's all for now, stay saucy!
