Weekly update: Upgrades! (Patreon)

Hey all,So I definitely held off on this post because I was waiting for some stuff to come in the mail and IT'S HERE!!!I decided to take the money you have been so gracious to contribute to the channel and reinvest it into new, better equipment for recording and storage. First off we've got that additional storage drive on the right there. I originally just had that 8tb drive next to the audio interface for footage but that was starting to get a little tight so I opted to get a 10tb hub which is gonna last me a while. In case you didn't know I record ALL of a game I'm playing or planning to cover and keep the footage archived which in the long run saves me hundreds of hours since I never have to go back and replay a game to get a clip of that one thing or worry about if I missed something. (Yes, my headset is old and held together with gorilla tape and super glue but the internals are fine so I won't replace it just yet) Next is a new audio interface, the Focusrite Scarlett Solo. I was using a Behringer UM2 for the longest time which was the cheapest interface you could get for a while but when I compared prices I noticed that for some reason they bumped the price of the UM2 from $30 to 120 FRIGGIN BUCKS!!! (And as far as I can tell they haven't really dome anything to it) The Scarlett Solo has much better recording quality than the UM2 I was using and I can really get a better sound quality out of my AT2035. Lastly, we've got a pretty cheap but effective upgrade for my Mic itself in the form of a $12 windscreen. I'm presently in a rented room where I'm allowed to do exactly 0 sound treating to the walls and I'm sure you've all heard the faintest reverb in my videos over the last year thanks to this. After a few test with the windscreen on I've got no reverb and background noise is almost completely gone. I guess it's the little things sometimes.I can't thank you all enough for your support. As far as Halloween I'm July is going the Amnesia video is just about done and I was intentionally holding off on recording F.E.A.R. waiting for this stuff. There's probably gonna be a world of difference in audio quality goin forward and it's all thanks to you!See you next week!
