Weekly update 7/9/2020 (Patreon)

Hey guys,

Not too much to report aside from that the F.E.A.R. video is done, uploaded, and now I'm working on finishing the Outlast video.

I've tried to keep a good pace for working on videos as time is of the essence but video stuff has to take a back seat to making sure we have a place to live on the other side of the country and that we secure financing so that my wife and go to school. On that note, things are going well. I've already found and leased the apartment, set up internet and utilities, plotted out a new route to get there along with booking the hotels we'll need, and contacted the movers about the change in route among a million other things. The rest of the things I'll need to do need a bit more time so for now I'm good.

I made a special video that will explain my circumstances to the entire channel which is currently scheduled for the week that the Outlast video should go live, but I get the feeling I'll be able to finish that one and move the announcement video to the fourth week of July.

The main issue is that around the time I hit 50K I'll be in the middle of moving and I likely won't have my PC with me or in once piece so the special Deus Ex video I was planning will need to wait. There is one alternative though...

I floated the idea that before I do the big video on DX I'd make a joke video which was me diving into the world of Deus Ex fanfiction... which I have discovered there is a lot of. After I mentioned in the discord people immediately volunteer to do characters' voices but I have no idea how that'd work. I only consider this because something like this could be done fairly quickly without needing to write a proper script or properly set it to gameplay footage.

Lastly, you might have noticed that I'm making an effort to rework this page. I'm trying to give this place a proper facelift and give us some real goals to work towards. I think the $1,000.00 goal might motivate some people into pledgeing ;)

See ya this Saturday for F.E.A.R.!!!
