And of course our favorite purple guy

I had a lot of fun designing his outfit!! Again going for an older, post colonial Mexican style outfit, as is the vibe of the world.

I think it’s very funny how obvious Orion sticks out from the rest of the group as not just purple but also in a pretty colorful outfit. But I think in the story, once he’s officially unable to use his glamour charm and he is committed to his true form, he has to just double down on his appearance.

It does serve a function in the story as well.

These are very nice clothes though, which is also a moment in the story at the beginning (open your purse, Rigel)

but I also wanted to talk about Orion’s skin!! I’m sure you can see the variation on his skin- this is a new design I’ve added to his character!

The darker tone is rougher and thicker, like shark skin. The lighter tone is soft and sensitive to the touch. It does serve a purpose, but I thought it would also add an extra fun element to his design and make him stick out just that much more
