The Fates (Patreon)

OKAY. So this is going to be very important lore! In the world of All the Space that’s in Between there is a a pantheon of gods but not everyone worships every god, but everyone believes in the Fates. This is because the world is made up of magic and non magic peoples, and the Fates purpose is to make sure there is balance. They do this by creating prophecies.

So this is my version of the Fates! Instead of weavers, they are gardeners! The Collector basically collects the seeds form harvested flowers and plants, sorts them into piles and plants them. The Caretaker waters the plants and repots them until they’re ready to plant in the garden. The Harvester trims the flowers when it’s time, and brings them to the collector.

This is the reason there is a flower naming convention within the world of ATSTIB, where every character has a flower/herb/tree name in at least one of their names. Parents do this in order to gain favor of the Fates, and stay in their good graces. When a person is not named in this way, there is often a reason.

The non magic people are, of course, humans. The people with magic are called monmagi. There are a lot of different type of monmagi, but there are 7 main groups that I will start introducing in my next lore posts!
