It’s Rigel’s turn to Simp and Suffer™️

This was a very popular request on Instagram so it got me thinking hahhaa (hence the comic)

In the canon world of ATSTIB, I’m pretty sure television is not going to exist so I have not put too much thought before into situations like this— but in a modern AU this is probably their average movie night.

The problem is Orion is kind of a bit of a grandpa, and his bed time is very early,, so he can’t really do movie nights. I imagine he tries very hard to stay awake because he loves movies but his body runs like clockwork lmao

Rigel is actually a night owl so this doesn’t happen to him, however I imagine he is incredibly picky with movies, and it takes forever for them to decide on a movie (taking them all the way to Orion’s bedtime)

Orion’s favorite types of movies are comedies, even if they aren’t actually funny he will find something to laugh at, but he’s usually down to watch any movie, in Rigel’s perspective, “he has no taste.” Rigel’s taste is so particular it can’t even be narrowed to a genre because that is still too broad.

However his favorite movies to watch with Orion are supernatural horror films because Orion tries to pretend the entire movie that he isn’t scared at all and that is enough entertainment value on its own
