Rigel’s Royal Guard Outfit (Patreon)

Day 4 of Sawah’s OCtober: Go-To outfit.

I don’t think I really went into detail about this before, but Rigel is actually apart of the Hemlock family’s Royal Guard. He is actually a general, so his outfit is a bit more fancier than the average Royal Gaurd. The Hemlocks are the ruling family of the Human Realm, and Rigel is from the Valeriana family which is one of the Great Households which explains his high position— this is why he is apart of the Royal Guard in the first place. The Royal colors are Green and Gold and White which is why he often dresses in those colors specifically. This outfit is subject to change but I think I am pleased with this design for now.

Lol so I think I talked about this before but designing clothes for ATSTIB is very hard for me lol, I am going for that old, European fairytale esque vibe in the clothing aesthetic, and I’m using the Italian Renaissance as my touchstone, however it’s not anchored in a certain time period and definitely not meant to be historically accurate to our world.

But yeah I’m still trying to gather more references so I can create my own visual library so that I can begin to design my own clothes in my style,,, it’s going to take awhile but I’ll get there!!
