Primrose City - ATSTIB Lore (Patreon)

The Lore:

Primrose: The Sanctuary City, the only city in the world where all Monmagi as well as humans live together in peace.

A huge city that is relatively new. The land was given to Prince Darrius Hemlock and Aurora Nightshade after their marriage had brought the century long war between the human and Monmagi realms to a ceasefire.

Once it was declared a sanctuary city that is separate from both realms, the city had exploded almost overnight. The city is on the brink of overpopulation now— houses and business crammed within the city limits. The waitlist to move into the city had begun only a couple years after its establishment.

Orion’s parents had been trying to move to Primrose city from the human realm his entire childhood, but could never make it off the waitlist.

(I made this for my vis dev class last year, unfortunately this was the only piece I could make for ATSTIB because apparently for animation VisDev this is the only thing you do............ I will of course one day like to do a lot more development for the world, but this gets the general vibe I hope.

I wanted to do more of a jewel tone color palette, but my instructor wouldn’t let me :( but that’s what I was thinking of, and waaaay more trees and greenery. I’m thinking that Monmagi houses would be more overtaken with plant life than human houses, so you would see the distinction.

I really don’t like the colors, I want to recolor it someday but it took like a week to color soooooooo maybe not anytime soon, I’m still recovering from doing the Lineart a year ago. Lmao)
