Have you updated macOS recently? Also, it still just doesn't start the game?

You need to play Sofia's sandbox scenes. Once you unlock all of them and play them at least once, you will get the elite scene.

nope when i try to load a previous load it jumps back to the main menu

Do you mean that when you try to load your save file, it just jumps to main menu? Does it happen for all of your save files? If so, can you send us some of them on Discord?

Do you get a message telling you that you're trying to load an old save file?

There is a code in the game that prevents loading save files which were created in version 0.16 or earlier. When you try to load such a save file, the game will send you straight to main menu. So is there is a chance you haven't played the game for a long time and have save files from 0.16 version or earlier? And those are the save files you're trying to load?

Loved the build up with Sophia. I know that Joyce will be left off of course for elite scene next update. Hopefully her story will progress in main story and hopefully Eliana will get some screentime

You have to finish the sandbox scenes with Sofia... specifically the nightclub

it's saying I've reached the end of the storyline for everything even tho i have the newest release?

Yes, because the newest version adds things for sandbox and not main story events. So your objective screen will say that everything is finished, because the new stuff is in your calendar
