Now is where I get in one last venting fit about the people being convinced that X2 is Tech nonsense. Put the stopper in it as it were. It is at this point back in April when this was airing where I started getting especially adamant about it not happening. Though I was mum on details as he hasn’t seen the show, I told my brother about it by describing to him that there is a stupidly popular theory that as of the conclusion of the episodes in this week’s reaction, the theory is effectively debunked. Because there is nowhere near enough time left to have such a twist in any way that would be narratively satisfying. Needless to say, the more ardent champions of the theory wouldn’t hear of it, leading me to snap some, saying, “NO! They would have revealed that by now if that was going to happen! Ok?! They had the time! We have three episodes left, and it’s the final season! The window of opportunity has passed! It’s TOO! FUCKING LATE!!” And there were fans saying, “Consider the possibility at least.” to which the response is, “I DID. For all of two goddamn seconds, before I remembered that I live in reality.” And yes, the traitorous voice in the back of my head made note that it would not be COMPLETELY impossible that the writers could pull something out of their ass and say “Somehow, Tech returned.” but all the available evidence shows that such a thing was NEVER going to happen, and thus you had to emphatically tell people with their Pepe Silvia style #Tech Lives flowcharts that, “You need to stop pining for this theory, for the theory has passed on! The theory of #Tech Lives is NO MORE! It has CEASED! TO BE! It’s expired and gone to meet its maker! #Tech Lives is a late theory!! It’s a stiff!! Bereft of life!! It rests in peace!! Since the rail car fell right on top of Tech, this theory was ALWAYS pushing up the daisies!! Its metabolic processes were ALWAYS HISTORY!!! It’s off the twig!!! It’s kicked the bucket!!! It’s shuffled off the mortal coil!!! It’s rung down the FUCKING CURTAIN and joined the GODDAMN CHOIR INVISIBLE!!!! THIS!!!! IS AN EX!!!! THEORY!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!! Where’s the Tylenol?”

Far from being a fitting theory with any kind of sense, it would bore the leggings off a village idiot. It rides a horse rather less well than another horse would. Its brain would make a grain of sand look large and ungainly. The part of it that can't be mentioned, I am reliably informed by women around the court, wouldn't be worth mentioning even if it could be. If it put on a floppy hat and a furry cod-piece, it might just get by as a fool, but since it wouldn't know a joke if it got up and gave it a haircut, I doubt it. That is why I don't believe it. And Rampart redemption theory, you're out too.
