I hear you on the lividity, and subsequently the bawling, especially now seeing the reaction that Jess had. There were a few creative and graphic threats of violence yelled at the show for what happened to Charlie when I saw this episode.

honestly to me, this is easily one of the top 3 deaths of the show in terms of most painful. But i also love that she died a hunter’s death. Brutal and horrible of course, but she died fighting, on her feet and trying to save Dean. She is a true Winchester, at heart
