Yeah, so - Charles Dance does not always equal a great movie. vis his turn as a cybord crimelord with a rip-cord started dick (I kid you not) in Space Truckers. It's so bad, it's terrible.

I knew!! LOL (no I didn't but I figure you would love this movie)

This trailer is everything. In my mind they made one mistake with the 2014 Godzilla movie: they tried to Jaws it too much. Nothing wrong with a slow reveal, but the constant cutting away as soon as the brawling started was misjudged. However, if Kong: Skull Island is any indication, WB and Legendary learned their lesson and this will be a proper monster mash. And holy shit, are they ever bringing out the monsters. Epic version of Clair De Lune really caught me off guard. Not at all what i was expecting from a Godzilla trailer, but it works really well! The feeling is awe rather than terror. And Jess, unless King of the Monsters really crashes and burns at the box office (and perhaps even if it does), we most certainly are getting a Godzilla vs Kong movie. And poor Kong is gonna get his ass kicked. =)

There was a 2014 Godzilla movie? I missed that completely. I still remember how bad the Matthew Broderick one from the 90's was. Love the use of Claire de Lune too.

I love everything about this lol
