Hi jess, is this reaction for the extended cut or regular? Just so I know which version to watch alongside

It's definitely not the 2h 18min long bluray version I got, so I imagine it's the theatrical cut.

This movie was actually a lot more enjoyable than I remembered -- love the monthly movie reactions, can't wait for the next one!

Totally forgot Viper/Madame Hydra is in this movie. I would have loved to see Mallory Jansen rock that outfit in Agents of SHIELD

I like this solo Wolverine film about ten times more than the first one, even though The Wolverine has it's share of problems. It's certainly the most grounded movie in the X-Men universe which is why the Silver Samurai feels so over the top and ridiculous. But as a bit of a weeb and japanophile, there is so much for me to enjoy in this film. Yukiko, probably most of all. She's so great. And that mid-credit sting is fucking amazing. I can't wait for your reaction to DOFP.

The best part of the movie was easily the mid credits teaser. I'm glad we got the first two Wolverine movies out of the way as I think every movie from now on is pretty entertaining. I never realized how many snakes or snake like things there are in movies/shows until I started watching all of Sesska's reactions. :D
