As an episode of season 11, Resolution is pretty good. As a special, it is middle tier. Certainly not the worst, but way below some of the very best specials.

It's one of the few stories of the 13th Doctor (so far) that I felt was genuinely entertaining. One or two of the stories from season 11 were undoubtedly worthy - but not the sort of stories that I would particularly want to rewatch as entertainment. Resolution,on the other hand,had a lot going for it. It wasn't perfect; but it had thrills,humour,character - and a fairly epic cinematic scope. (Tempted to buy the DVD,if I'm honest - provided there's an 'extra' or two)

Hi Jess well I am glad that you enjoyed the new year special Dr Who the battle sequence was well done Ryan's dad hmm not to sure if I wanted him back in my life after walking out on his son anyway the Doctor oh yes she was ready to kick ass and defend the Earth oh the two archaeologist's they were fun and will no doubt make a great couple lets hope this new season 12 we se a more kickbutting and as you said sassy Doctor ok I think I am done oh one other thing Dr Who Season 12 is now being filmed as I write this in South Africa ready for 2020 ok when you are ready we will get Season 11 revew then and you can correct me if I am worng or jumping the gun Classic Who Torchwood and Class all to come some time down the road ok Jess take care and as always Love light and peace
