Hi, Sorry for so many questions, First, what did you think of peter Capaldi's character in Torchwood season 3, especially what happened to him in the end? I always found it interesting that in the end he was portrayed sympathetically. To me he seemed more than willing to work with his superiors when it meant other people having their families ruined, but it was only when his was threatened that he took action. Second: again about Capaldi's torchwood character, what do you think of his colleague describing him as a good man who worked hard and did what he was told considering he was being told to do horrible things? It seems akin to the "just following orders" defence when really the character was smart enough to know better - at one point when jack threatened his family he even said "you are a better man than me." Third: what's your opinion on what happened to the prime minister in torchwood season 3, and what do you make of the fact that his replacement (the lady who said "I will be taking charge of very many things now") is the same woman who suggested targeting children based upon academic ability? It seems to me the "evil" prime minister was just replaced with someone equally evil. Fourth: What do you think of the aliens and particularly their motivations (essentially junkies willing to kill for then next hit) in torchwood season 3, and do you think you would have been willing to sacrifice like Jack did to stop them? Fifth: What do you think of the beginning of torchwood series 3 episode 3 where, in the flashback to handing over the 12 kids the lady tells jack "we need someone who doesn't care" and how that compares to ashildur/me in doctor who series 9. What do you think of the way these shows treat the idea of immortality as a negative instead of a positive? One last one, do you intend to carry on music reactions?

In your First Doctor review, you mentioned how you've had difficulties getting on with a lot of the electronically-treated voices in the era. I'd never really thought about this before, but obviously with creations like the Mechanoids and the War Machines, they were trying to cash in on the popularity of the Daleks. One of the most striking things about the Daleks of course are their voices - very distinctive and easily imitated by children in the playground. Do you think that one of the reasons they tried so many other electronic voices after that was because they were trying to repeat the formula that was so successful with the Daleks? Although with diminishing returns as the voices weren't as understandable as the Daleks.

Torchwood 1) First of all, Ianto's death was really hard for everyone, so we all sympathise. There's a shrine in Wales where the Torchwood base was filmed dedicated to him that's still there today. Now that you've had some time to process it, do you feel like his sacrifice was warranted in the grand scheme of the story? Especially so soon after losing Tosh and Owen too? 2) Would you still consider Frobisher a "good man" after what he did to himself and his family, what do you make of his decision and do you think it was justifiable? 3) Do you think Jack made the right decision ultimately in his sacrifice? 4) How do you think the Doctor would have reacted differently to the situation compared to our Torchwood team? Do you think the Doctor would have understood why Jack did what he did? 5) What do you think of the formidability of the 456 compared to other villains we've seen on all the Who shows? His Dark Materials 1) Ultimately, do you think anything Asriel achieves in his grand plan will be able to justify his killing of Roger? 2) Similar question but what do you make of both Lyra's parents having no problem hurting others but never Lyra? Despite them being willing to essentially kill her surrogate family. What do you make of Miss Coulter's and Lord Asriel's (respective) connections/relationships with Lyra? 3) What do you think about Will's story this season? To explain a bit, in the books, Will isn't really a feature of the first book (which the first season was based on), but I believe the first chapter of book 2 details most of the stuff about Will's life that we see in this season, and we're told these things happened during the events of Lyra's adventures etc. Obviously you don't know where season 2 is headed yet but, structurally, do you think you prefer the story being weaved throughout the season like it was, or do you maybe think the season should've had more of a focus on the 'main' plots like Lyra etc. Vikings 1) Do you think Bjorn makes for a good king, or do you think he might be a bit too rash or emotionally driven behind his actions? Has he made too many mistakes? 2) What do you make of Ivar's relationship with Igor? Do you think it's mainly about trying to win over Oleg, or do you think Ivar really cares about what's best for him? I also suspect that he's using Igor to mourn for Baldir, like a 'you're-the-son-I-never-had' type of situation. 3) Thoughts on the character of 'Katia' - do you think Oleg somehow knows she's the spitting image of Ivar's dead wife, or if it's in Ivar's mind, or if it's just some meddling from the Gods? Maybe Freydis had realtion to the god Freya after all? What do you make of the whole situation? 4) Do you think it was the right decision to kill Lagertha at this point in the story (or even at all), as to 'get it out of the way' so to speak? 5) What did you think of Lagertha's send-off/her character in her final season, since I know you had your reservations after where the character went in season 5? 6) Do you think Bjorn's punishment to Hvitserk was fair? Do you think he will be able to be okay by himself out in the cold? 7) Thoughts on Gunnhild's proposal for Bjorn to share their marriage? Do you think that polyamory might be the only way for Bjorn, being the womanizer he is, to commit himself to a marriage? The Witcher 1) What do you think about the structure of the story so far, as far as timelines are concerned? As in with Geralt having his self-contained short stories each episode, while Yennifer and Ciri are having their own seperate developing storylines. 2) How are you liking the character of Geralt so far? I know the broody leading man can be a cliche type of character, but I think the writing (and performance from Cavill) actually make him really enjoyable. Is the show what you were expecting about these parts? 3) What do you think of Yennifer's character so far - do you think she's changed her personality (for better or worse) since she reshaped her body? 4) How are you liking the relationship between Jaskier and Geralt? Doctor Who There's so much going on right now this season that I'm not even sure what to ask at this stage lol. So I'll just ask, knowing that you weren't the biggest fan of series 11, what are your initial impressions of series 12 and do you think it's an improvement so far?
