Just so you all know, I hit a technical difficulty towards the end of the episode. Instead of splitting it into two parts for just two minutes, I put them together. It should flow just fine though.

Like I mentioned on youtube, I find Kamala’s mom is up there on my favorite characters for the show. I’d say it’s between her and Bruno, missed seeing him this week, by the way. The scene with Kamala’s mom and Nani was the highlight of the episode for me. That line “I didn’t need your stories, Mommy, I needed my mother.” is the part that got to me the most. Other great lines in this episode were how Kamala’s Nani admits that even at her age she’s still discovering who she is, and that line of “Finding beauty in the broken pieces.” I’d imagine the bad guys cutting ties with Kamran will come back to bite them in the ass one way or another. I’m assuming the show’s going to do like WandaVision and Moon Knight where the penultimate episode focuses primarily on unraveling the mystery. I would agree that it’s quite likely that the show will reveal that Kamala was the stars guiding the way, and if done right, said reveal has the potential to be highly emotional. Likewise, it should prove highly emotional seeing the Partition. As to your neighbors mowing the lawn, I didn’t hear any of that, so it was not bothersome. The technical difficulty you had also was not noticeable and/or bothersome either. As to your mentioning how you’re really enjoying this show despite the fact that people such as myself have stated that the show is not as well regarded as past Marvel shows. Speaking for myself, in all fairness, I’m attributing a significant percentage of my somewhat lukewarm feelings of this show to the fact that I’ve been going through a really bad time of things lately, and it’s affecting my ability to enjoy the show. It’s like last year with Loki in that I was going through a terrible, terrible time in my life whilst that was airing, and thus, couldn’t properly appreciate it like pretty much everybody else did. In any case, the important thing is that you’re really enjoying this show. And, yeah, ok, so I and others may not entirely feel the same way, what does it matter? You’re loving the show, it’s making you happy, that’s good enough for me. This was a nice reaction, Jess. Looking forward to next week’s episode and subsequently your reaction to it.
