When I was watching Zombieland Double Tap with you, I was delighting in the inane character of Madison. You seemed to enjoy her as well. Any thoughts on why she was so delightful?

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Question 1: We’ve sadly come to the point in the show where we’ve lost Satine. Reflecting on it, how would you summarize your feelings and thoughts regarding Anna Graves’s performance as Satine, Satine’s character, her story, and her relationship with Obi-Wan? And I again wish to say that for what it’s worth I'm so sorry about what happened to Satine. Question 2: A striking moment when Obi-Wan Kenobi goes against the Jedi council’s orders, borrows a ship from Anakin, and goes to Mandalore with the goal of saving Satine. How would you sum up your thoughts on how Obi-Wan's love for Satine is strong enough that he of all people defies the Jedi council’s direct orders? Question 3: Originally the show did not plan to outright say that Satine and Bo-Katan are sisters, rather the plan was to merely strongly infer that. How do you feel about how the show revealed the sisterly connection between Satine and Bo-Katan? Question 4: One of the more dramatic moments of season five is seeing Darth Sidious finally get in on the action after all this time of operating from the shadows. How would you summarize your thoughts on seeing Sidious in action, and just how effortlessly he defeated Darth Maul and killed Savage? Related to that, the fact that there even was a fight at all provides a window into the mind and character of Darth Sidious. He demonstrates he could have squashed Maul and Savage like bugs without having to set foot in the room. The only reason the fight happens is because Sidious let it for the simple reason that he wanted to have fun. What say you on this insight into Sidious? Question 5: I have a theory about the Darksaber. The theory being since Darth Maul won the Darksaber fair and square and was then defeated in combat by Darth Sidious, and The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett clarified that one does not need to kill the opponent to claim the blade, per the rules in place, that makes Darth Sidious the rightful wielder of the Darksaber, and according to what both the Armorer and Bo-Katan have stated, by being the wielder of the Darksaber, that would also make him ruler of Mandalore. Do you have any thoughts on this theory? And if it turned out to be true, which I suspect on some level that it is, knowing how much you love Satine, I would imagine that it is a fair presumption to surmise that you would NOT be happy about such a development? Question 6: Upon the initial airing of the series, some fans decried Darth Maul’s begging Darth Sidious for mercy saying that it was out of character for him to do so. I myself always interpreted Maul saying “Have mercy! Please!! PLEASE!!!” was in fact his way of saying “Just fucking kill me.” A plea that Maul is aware won’t be granted, but he’s so terrified by what he knows Sidious will do that the fear overwhelms him, hence the begging. Looking back on Maul’s last scenes of season five, how would you read his statements and actions? Question 7: I’ve brought up in the past about how we have stories or arcs where Palpatine is not the instigator or mastermind behind the fuckery. The final arc of season five is one of the most notable instances of this in that Barriss being the mastermind of the bombing of the Jedi temple, and subsequently arranging it so Ahsoka is like the Mona Lisa getting framed, Palpatine doesn’t have anything to do with that. None of it. He of course leaps at the opportunities and advantages provided as they are most efficacious in furthering his plans. Your thoughts on how Palpatine was not the mastermind, nor was he involved in the plot of this arc, even though it seemed very much his style, and how would you compare this arc to previous arcs or stories where the fuckery is not Palpatine’s doing? Question 8: The final arc of season five once again showcases how severely flawed the dogmatic narrow view of the Jedi is. In this instance, specifically, how they condemned Ahsoka and essentially threw her to the wolves, so to speak, and later they chalk up their treatment of Ahsoka as being the will of the Force, and they never even say they’re sorry, Plo Koon and Anakin being exceptions. Though in fairness, it is implied that at least Yoda and Obi-Wan were planning to do so after they had dispensed with the official pleasantries. What’s your take on how the show is presenting these situations where the Jedi are shady as shit time and time again, and how would you summarize your thoughts on how they were shady as shit in their treatment of Ahsoka in the final arc of season five? Question 9: As you observed, Palpatine is interrupted from reading the verdict that was reached in Ahsoka’s trial by Anakin bringing in Barriss and the show never reveals what the verdict was. Upon reflection, in your opinion what verdict do you think that the senate reached? Question 10: For some time, due to the show’s initial cancellation, the final episode of season five served as the series finale. Supposing that this was in fact the finale of The Clone Wars, how would you have felt about that, and would you have found it to be a satisfactory finale? Tales of the Walking Dead: Question 1: Do you have any further thoughts, comments, or just anything more you care to say about the superb Alpha episode, specifically Samantha Morton’s thoroughly magnificent performance, and how the show shows her time at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse from her perspective? Question 2: The episode starring Parker Poesy and Jillian Bell was great for its Heaven Sent time loop plot. Say the show has other episodes with an off the wall plot, are there any specific ideas or plots of a nonsensical nature that you’d like to see in any potential future seasons, or are you wanting to be surprised by whatever shenanigans the show has in store for you? Beauty and the Beast: Question 1: A few days after the reaction I found I was reflecting on your opinions on the Beast, which I reiterate as someone who is quite fond of the character, I did not mind in the slightest that you’re not a fan of the Beast. During my reflections I recalled how you’ve said in the past that lack of freedom is something that really bothers you, like a lot. It therefore made further sense to why you don’t like the Beast. It brings me to my question to you. Would you say that your dislike of the Beast is more due to his unpleasant demeanor and his being unkind to the others in the castle? Would you say that it’s more due to how he imprisons Belle? Or would you say that it’s both reasons in roughly equal measure? Question 2: Related to the matter of the Beast imprisoning Belle, something only occurred to me during your reaction. In the original 1991 film when the Beast allows Belle to go and be with Maurice, he makes a clear point to say “I release you. You are no longer my prisoner.” That line is not present in the newer version, and it only occurred during your reaction. I even paused and said something like, “Wait a minute. Let me get this straight. Since that line’s absent in this version, does this mean he still views Belle as his prisoner? If not, he needs to be clearer about that.” What’s your thoughts on the line’s absence in this newer version, and do you feel it means that the Beast still viewed Belle as his prisoner, or do you feel it’s just a simple oversight in the writing? Question 3: A major source of criticism this newer version of Beauty and the Beast received was the book that allowed you to leave the castle. Reflecting upon your reaction, I don’t recall you said all that much one way or another how you felt about the plot point about the book itself. If you did, I apologize for my memory failing me. Looking back on it do you have any specific thoughts about the book or no? Question 4: You stated that though probably not a popular opinion, The Mob Song is your favorite song from Beauty and the Beast, particularly because it’s catchy as fuck. Along with Gaston, it’s my favorite song from Beauty and the Beast as well. Are there any other Disney films of a musical nature where your favorite song may not be the popular choice, and if so, what might some examples be? Zombieland Double Tap: An idea has emerged regarding Madison. She mentions she’s been hiding in the fridge at Pinkberry since the start of the zombie outbreak, ten years prior. Assuming that Madison is at or around the same age as Zoey Deutch, this means she was at least around the age of thirteen when the zombie outbreak began and has spent the last ten years without any real meaningful human contact. It would therefore suggest that her air-headed and clueless nature is less because she’s dumb as shit, but rather she’s emotionally and mentally stuck at around thirteen. Looking back on it with this idea in mind, what’s your read concerning Madison and her intelligence or lack thereof? In any case, I agree with you that Madison is a delightful character.

Clone Wars: I was so sorry to see that you saw the episode where Duchess Satine died right before you went on your much-needed break. Probably the worst time you could have seen that story arc. But in that arc, they also reveal that Satine is Bo Katan's sister, and you (delightfully) had no idea. What has this revelation done in terms of changing opinions you had about Bo Katan, if anything? What are your thoughts on Bo Katan, based on what you've seen so far?

Hi, 2 classic who questions: 1: You have mentioned before that over-hype of an episode can cause you to be unimpressed as it leads to you having very high expectations. Do you think Genesis of the Daleks lives up to its hype? 2: What is your opinion on the show making a moral dilemma out of a clearly evil villian. Do you find it more interesting when the antagonist is morally gray (like in a town called mercy) or when they are evil and the story is more about the protagonists morals.
