For the record, I think it would be super interesting to hear more of what you know about Disney. Thanks for sharing some of that knowledge!

I loved hearing your ranking of the Tales of the Walking Dead episodes. I know exactly what you mean when you say that you’re a sucker for really good acting, especially when it comes to performances of villainous and/or unlikable characters. That is a major reason why Alpha is such an amazing character because Samantha Morton was pure brilliance in that role. It’s also one of the major reasons why Palpatine/Darth Sidious is my favorite character as Ian McDiarmid showcases such immense talent in the role that it’s breathtaking to behold. I loved your observations about Palpatine on how you appreciated the slow journey of his villainy becoming more and more apparent as the show went on, but it did so in a believable way, and one that benefited the overall story. I’m really enjoying hearing your discussions about Andor. I’m fully on board with the idea of the Madisynn and Wongers show. Though I only caught Game of Thrones after it finished airing, I relate to how you say there was a much more relaxed feeling watching the beginning of that versus House of the Dragon. That's been jarring at times watching House of the Dragon live and experiencing in real time the strong opinions expressed. And yes, I'm aware of I've been somewhat vocal with my opinions myself. That is a valid criticism you raised about Supernatural. Regarding Dumbo, you mentioned that maybe because it may not be as beloved of a Disney film as others might be a reason for the reception given to the remake. Well, that’s actually something that I think helped with my viewing experience in that my emotional attachment to the original Dumbo isn’t as strong as other Disney films, thus when I saw the newer Dumbo with my friend, it was easier to assess the film on its own merits. As I see Jenny said, and I agree, I would be most intrigued to hear more of your knowledge of Disney rides. That story you shared about the one ride sounded dark as Hell and sounded like it would be traumatizing as shit. I can relate to how you say you’re not the biggest fan of Girl in the Fireplace, as it’s not an episode that’s high on my own list either. It’s perfectly fine, just not one of my favorites. Then again, The Husbands of River Song is my favorite episode of Doctor Who, old and new, and as far as I’ve noticed, that doesn’t seem to be a widely popular opinion. Honestly though, I don’t care as that episode was beautiful, and it’s probably going to remain my favorite Doctor Who episode until the day I die. Thanks for another fun monthly chat, Jess.
