Obi-Wan Kenobi: Question 1: Many fans were disappointed that Satine never gets mentioned or even brought up offhand. Do you wish we could have explored Obi-Wan's grief over Satine ten years on? Question 2: The show never addresses as to why Obi-Wan used the name Ben whilst in hiding. I mean, I know the reason, but it’s never been brought up in a visual medium. I'm just wondering, were you curious about why he used the name Ben, or no? Question 3: A scene I thought for sure would have been in this show, be it flashbacks or present day, would have been Obi-Wan visiting the grave of Shmi Skywalker, paying his respects, and apologizing to her for what happened to her son. Would this have been a scene you’d have been interested in seeing and/or do you believe such a scene transpired? Question 4: A big highlight of the series is that it shines a spotlight on Owen and Beru, and how they raised Luke. Any additional thoughts you have on the brief spotlight that was shown on Owen and Beru? Question 5: The show never makes clear if the Third Sister knew who Luke was. Some have suggested that it’s equally possible that going after Luke was for revenge against Obi-Wan and she is unaware of Luke’s relation to Darth Vader. Not helping the ambiguity is the Third Sister is not the most forthcoming, motivation-wise. Looking back on it, what’s your take on the Third Sister’s actions? Question 6: I previously mentioned how the portrayal of Darth Vader felt like a demon straight from hell. Thus, Ian’s cameo as the Emperor reminds us that if Vader’s a demon, the Emperor is the devil himself. Your thoughts on how Ian and the creative staff of the show do a superb job of reminding us just how much dominance the Emperor has over Vader with only the minute, if that of screentime in this show? Question 7: You are correct that Darth Vader’s goal is to make Obi-Wan suffer prolonged torment, hence why he takes his sweet time in killing him. Other fans have suggested there is also an element of Anakin warring with Vader thus creating hesitation on Vader’s part. The Emperor even openly questions it. Would you say your read on Vader remains the same, or would you say it’s changed any, if so, how? Question 8: Now we’ve reached the end, how would you summarize your feelings of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s journey through the show, how well a job you feel they did with it, and just in general, anything further you care to say that maybe you haven’t already? Rebels: Question 1: It’s such a wonderful strength of the show is that they create such wonderful characters in The Shady Bunch that you invest in them almost instantly. Any further thoughts on how the strength of The Shady Bunch is such that your investment in them was as quick as it was? Question 2: More a fun fact that I thought you’d appreciate. When Anthony Daniels portrays C-3PO in the animated shows, Filoni lets him look over the scripts, and if he wants to, he could make changes or suggestions to the character or dialogue to ensure that it fits 3PO’s personality. Just any thoughts you have on how Anthony has honed his skills at playing 3PO as perfectly as he has that he’s allowed the degree of creative control that he has when bringing your King to life? The Mandalorian: Question 1: A big highlight of the season has been Bo-Katan's arc. What's your thoughts on her arc? Related to that, how has it been seeing her journey on the show following seeing her journey on The Clone Wars? Question 2: A surprise of the season has been the focus on the New Republic and how in certain ways, it’s proving not much better than the Empire. Especially how I doubt the Chancellor would approve of much of what’s gone on, if in fact they’re even aware of such things as what Elia Kane is doing. What would your thoughts be on the spotlight of the New Republic, and how there are those like Kane who are taking advantage of the loopholes and oversights of the New Republic to insidiously carry out nefarious acts? Likewise, related to that, a major highlight of the season is the greater focus on how the Empire may not be as dead as some would like, and how it seems they are rebuilding. What's your opinion on how the show has presented the Empire beginning their steady ascension from the ashes, and how the specter of the Emperor and all he wrought still looms large over the galaxy? The Last of Us: Question 1: A small thing, and I admit it’s been bothering me for a while. We saw that Joel was raising Sarah with Tommy. No word is ever given to Sarah’s mom, not even to say if she’s dead or that Joel is divorced. What would be your opinion? I realize that perhaps this may or may not have been something you may not have given thought to. Say you had to guess, what would be your thoughts? Question 2: I’m curious that although Ellie is immune, I’ve pondered that she could still be a carrier. The closest we get to finding out is when she bites David, but his face is hacked up into little bloody tiny pieces before he would have the chance to turn. Would you say you have an opinion one way or another on Ellie still being contagious, despite her immunity? Question 3: Many fans have debated about who was right and who was wrong, Joel or Marlene and the fireflies. More I think about it, that becomes a secondary concern for what you said that one, it is difficult to accurately say what one would do unless they’re in such a situation. And two, once it was known what was at stake, you knew exactly what Joel would do. Right or wrong, it was without question what Joel would do. Any further thoughts you have on how the show did such a great job of building up Joel’s character that for him, there was no other way the ending was going to play out, even if one does happen to personally disagree with his choice? Question 4: As I originally commented, one thing that hinders my sympathy for Marlene is the fact that she is just as guilty as Joel in denying Ellie her say in that she never tells Ellie the whole truth about what the surgery would entail. Let’s say for sake of argument Marlene shot straight with Ellie, and supposing Ellie said no to the procedure, how do you feel Marlene and by extension, the fireflies would have handled that? How do you feel they would have reacted if Ellie rejected the surgery and refused to give her life for the greater good? Inglourious Basterds: Question 1: It’s been debated if Landa recognized Shoshanna or not. I suspect he did, hence his ordering milk and the strudel with the crème for her in the restaurant. My topic of debate is why he kept mum on her identity if in fact he did recognize her. Which is my question to you. Let’s say Landa did recognize Shoshanna, what would be your interpretation as to why he never says or does anything about it? Would you feel it’s because he feels she poses no threat, he keeps quiet for his own amusement, some combination of the two thoughts, or something else? Question 2: Though we never progress past the morning after the theater’s explosion, it’s safe to assume that in this alternate history, the events that transpired will be recorded as a military operation. This would also mean that Shoshanna’s actions will be forgotten, and Shoshanna herself will never be remembered. Any thoughts you would have on the tragedy of how Shoshanna and all she did and endured would presumably never be remembered? District 9: Question 1: You noted that Wikus was interesting in that he was both sympathetic and unsympathetic to varying degrees on both sides. Looking back, any further observations on sympathy or lack thereof concerning Wikus? Question 2: A big talking point of the film is that you’re left with far more questions than answers. Anything further you wish to discuss about the complete ambiguity of the various questions posed at the end of the film?

Just the one question - Classic Who, Horror of Fang Rock: Do you think Ben is dead?

Jenny Chalek

1. Obi-Wan Kenobi - what are your thoughts on the way they wrapped up Reva's arc? I personally feel it would have benefitted from a couple more episodes of reveals. 2. Obi-Wan Kenobi - I felt a little cheated that Qui Gon's force ghost only shows up at the very end. Do you think they did that to leave room for more with him if they make a second season? 3. The Last of Us - if Ellie had been given the opportunity to consent to what they were going to do to her, what decision do you think she would have made? 4. Rebels - where in your list of favorite droids would Chopper be? Has he made the top 10? He's a murderous little shit, but he's fun. 5. Mandalorian - do you have anything to say about Greek Karga's arc so far? Remembering that he once tried to kill Grogu, but seeing him with all this "uncle" energy now is kind of heartwarming, imo.

Last of us - Q1 Do you think you’ll ever attempt to play the game, it’d be a fun watch Classic who - Q1 The lighthouse in fang rock, I think, is a cool unique location for an episode, Do you think they utilised the location well or is that not something that is important to you or that you even take note of. Q2. is there a location or set from Who that you really enjoyed, or stuck in your mind. Q3. is there a location you’d love to see them explore that would make for fun interesting story. Q4. They mention in Fang Rock the war between the Sontarans and Rutans, which is referenced again by the 10th doctor in the season 4 2 parter episode with the Sontarans, I don’t know if that’s something we’ll see later on in classic who as I’m watching along with you but is that something you’d be interested in seeing Given it would be, walking potatoes against slow green booger aliens or do you think they could make it engaging. Also Rip Ben, they didn’t make it clear but I think he might be dead.
