The director's 14-year-old son was tasked to be in the boat with K9 to navigate it. Oh, also the sound recordist fell into the moat that evening. Good times. We've seen the actor Declan Mulholland who played Grendel's manservant before. He was one of the contractors that was attacked on the sea fort in "The Sea Devils". He was also the (human) Jabba the Hutt from the deleted scene in the original Star Wars where he confronts Han - replaced by a CGI Jabba in the 1997 re-release version. This story was good fun. It is by the same writer as the previous story, "The Stones of Blood". This whole series has been fun. "You have my word as a Gracht you will not be harmed.", ..., "Liar!", Count Grendel and the Doctor, "The Androids of Tara"
