Mrs. Henderson is played by Sian Phillips, best known as Empress Livia in the 1976 miniseries I, Claudius, a perennial choice for one of the greatest miniseries ever. And she actually just recently played Livia again in the audio adaptation of The Sandman, which is how she and Neil Gaiman first got in touch and led to this role. It's amazing to see her still working, and still looking fabulous at age 90.

That's a great fun fact. I love I, Claudius. I've watched that series through about a half-dozen times and still one of my favorite BBC productions.

I've always particularly loved Sian as the Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam in the 1984 film version of 'Dune'! <3

Oh yeah she was tremendous in Dune, alongside her I Claudius co-star, Patrick Stewart as well. She was married to Peter O'Toole for about 20 years also; that must've been some marriage!
