"I think one of us is being extremely stupid.", The Doctor, "The Armageddon Factor" I should point out that if anybody could to write a scene where K9 gets put into a furnace and melted down and might get away with it, it would be Bob Baker and Dave Martin who created K9 in the first place in "The Invisible Enemy". We're all glad they didn't though. But they do write weird stories, don't they? From "The Claws of Axos" through "The Three Doctors" to "Underworld" so far, their imagination outstrips the BBC production ability but the stories all seem ... a little bit too big and too shallow. BTW Is it odd for me to think "Cuddly Toy" when I see K9 on the conveyor belt? But I also think of C-3PO in "The Empire Strikes Back", of course. We haven't seen John Woodvine who plays the Marshal before in Classic Who. But you did see him as the doctor in "An American Werewolf in London". "Oh, good-oh. As long as there is no personal risk involved, of course.", The Doctor, "The Armageddon Factor"
