I knew that Bobby would return in this episode, but I thought it was more out of nowhere... I forgot about the Reaper spilling the beans and I expected Sam just stumble across Bobbys cage in hell... xD And I honestly believe that the name-drop in last weeks episode was a hint that Bobby would return! ^^

Yes, this was a whole lot to take in for one episode. One’s heart goes out to Kevin. I especially feel bad that the Winchesters doubt the veracity of his claims that Crowley was in his head. Even if Crowley wasn’t in his head, which like you, I felt the possibility seemed plausible, they didn’t show the most encouraging support. You had a moment of calling them out, I said, “Boys, at this point, how do you NOT know the ways of the Dark Side. They LOVE to troll people, and with abilities in trolling that some consider to be unnatural.” And I do agree, there’s not much they’d be able to do, still, Dean’s usual advice of the “Suck it up, be a man and step up to the plate” mentality is not going to be the peptalk that Kevin wants to hear or needs to hear. Another case of just because that mentality has worked for Dean, or so Dean thinks anyway, it’s not one size fits all. I too will be most displeased if Kevin’s mom has been killed. The tragedy of Benny is one that is quite sad. It is as you said, he’s lost, doesn’t fit in, thus, who or what does he have to live for. I knew he was going to lay his life down for Sam when he said to Dean, “Sounds like a good plan.” A statement that conveniently side-steps committing to an agreement with Dean. I do like how in the end, Sam comes around a little on Benny. I’m with you on reserving opinions on this Naomi, though my one thought at the moment is that I would not trust this Naomi any more than I could throw her. Of course, with my bad knee, I shouldn't be throwing anybody. Now onto Bobby. As you saw, they held off showing Jim Beaver’s name until the very end. “They FINALLY learned their lesson!” as you said, delightful moment of the video by the way. First off, nice of Ajay to help Sam get into Hell. Shame he got killed, as he seemed a good guy. After all, he’s a guy who’d get extra anchovies on a pizza. That spells good man in my book. All the scenes of Bobby and Sam cut into my heart and soul, BAD. Dummy me, I made the mistake of watching this episode on a night where I had to be up for work first thing in the morning. It took me about half an hour to calm down before I was able to go to bed. Your own reactions to Bobby’s scenes, Jess, were most beautiful. Like you said, we want Bobby to get to Heaven and exist his best existence. I would disagree with Bobby about the rocking chair. Getting your perfect porch and rocking chair set up in Heaven does sound like an agreeable idea to me. Obviously, Bobby does not share that thought, but whatever his ideal Heaven would be, I do hope Bobby gets it, because as you said, and you are absolutely correct, Bobby is owed that. He is the best character in this show. Period. Fine della storia. Thank you so, so much for this wonderful reaction, Jess.
