You say that you “feel like it’s just going to get worse before it gets better, if it gets better. Nobody says we have to end this season on a better note. It could end on a worse note.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that every season of this show? Start by expressing pride in Kevin for putting two and two together about “Sam and Dean”. Their first scene, I also figured something was off about “Sam and Dean”. They were too cheerful, full of pep. Two qualities to which those two gentlemen waved bye-bye to long, long ago. Then again, I’m hardly in any position to judge. Great moment when Crowley figures it out and Kevin’s sitting there gloating a bit. I loved your reaction to that by the way. It made me laugh, Crowley’s reaction to hearing how Kevin figured it out, the look on his face reading as if he didn’t know whether he should be infuriated or impressed, and perhaps a touch amused. It was most impressive of Castiel taking advantage of a corporate conglomerate having a uniform look for nationwide establishments that serve rapidly prepared food. Great moment of Crowley facing off against Naomi. It’s at that moment, I decide between the two of them, I side with Crowley. He’s of the Dark Side, and I know the Dark Side. Honestly, it’s the pious ones you need to watch out for sometimes as their idea of greater goods and what does or doesn’t justify achieving said greater goods can be terrifying. Plus, with the Dark Side, at least they’re honest. They never lie. Sure, they bullshit, exploit loopholes galore, and get most creative in interpretation of one’s words, but they never lie. I had figured you wouldn’t be too fond of the moment of Crowley having the quasi-Mola Ram moment with the tablet. I assume he was living out a small fantasy there; probably chanting “Kali Ma Shakti de” in his head once or twice. That was indeed a powerful moment that Sam had. Now we meet the Metatron, which, I had a double take seeing Curtis Armstrong playing him. I said, “Is that Booger!?” So far, an interesting take on the Metatron. Took me a second to click that you were referring to our dear Derek Jacobi in Good Omens when speaking of other Metatrons, presumably. I know, I haven’t seen the show, but I was informed that Derek is the Metatron in that. Personally, in terms of portrayals of the Metatron, it is most difficult to top our beloved Alan Rickman. Thank you for the great reaction, Jess, and as I said on youtube, the bug did not bug me. I do hope you were able to deal with it. Me, were I in your shoes, I’d have channeled Michael Keaton, yelling, “All right, bug! Now you want to get nuts!! COME ON!! Let’s get nuts!!” before going Ahab on the bug. Thanks again for the reaction, Jess.
