"Dead men do not require oxygen", The Ship, Shada That's a good cliffhanger. The Doctor tries to out maneuver the Ship, but falls into the trap of his own making. I first saw this animated version as the full 2017 "movie" cut, but it was very, very clear that this was a cliffhanger moment. How nice is that the the Professor is back? Obviously, in reactions we the watchers are aware whether a character is really out of the story or not. But it's more poignant when the reactor loved the character but we know they're coming back. So Skagra has an invisible spacecraft. I'm thinking - where have we seen an invisible spacecraft before in Doctor Who? Well, the TARDIS in "The Invasion" for a start, but also Captain Jack parked his next to Big Ben and the Family of Blood had one in "Human Nature". And the actors get to do invisible wall acting for a few moments - nice. Wilkin is the college porter, controlling entry into the college, arranging maintenance and repairs etc. Here is a photo of a college porter at a real college porter's lodge - this could almost be a still from our show. Look how worn that front step is! https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/53/Selwyn_College%2C_Cambridge_Porters_Lodge.jpg I like the dialogue between the Doctor and Chris ("Do you understand Einstein?", ... "And quantum theory?" ... "You've got a lot to unlearn"). Chris and Clare are just trying to keep up with all the new stuff that's happening in their life. Talking about Clare - take a look at the actor's (Victoria Burgoyne) IMDB photo - apparently, it's from the film "Death Ship".
