"I do hate computers - they're so literal-minded. Aren't you K9?", The Doctor, "Shada" Good on you for picking up on the Professor/Salyavin hint early . This is a really nice story - slightly enhanced in the fans eyes, I suppose, for being unfinished - but the story really does work well. I'm not too sure what to make of the old Tom Baker (the lines are taken from the the original script). All Classic Doctor cameos are wonderful so I'm just happy watching it. When the Doctor end up in the TARDIS back room and starts to create his mind-helmet, there are lots of prop references to previous stories. The one I most like is the Polyphase Avatron that K9 defeated from "The Pirate Planet". There's are some lines missing from the animated version of that scene. In some released version of the store (I can't remember which - and there have been so many), the Doctor says of the helmet he has made, that he's going to look very silly wearing it, but even if the helmet doesn't work at least his enemies will be paralysed with laughter. That's a Blowfish humanoid (first seen in Torchwood) as one of the Shada criminals, isn't it? Sometimes you can save the whole world by punching somebody - you know what I'm saying?", sesskasays Yep, I know which punch you're referring to.

I think having Tom come back to play that final scene in person, instead of animating it, was just a nice touch for the fans. Would have been nice to see Llala Ward again, too, but I'm guessing she might not have wanted to be reunited with her ex.

I don't get the feeling that there's any &*%$@@@! between them. They just hit the reality that their personalities don't quite gel in the way they thought in the moment! - That may or may not be an understatement or quite a reasoned assessment!
