Quite the treat for you that in addition to the Sam and Castiel dynamic, you also get the Crowley and Dean team-up which you lived for. Both dynamics were great. I’m with you on living for Crowley. Mark is consistently terrific. Loved your reactions to Tara who was quite intense I agree. Curious developments with bringing Cain into this. Timothy Omundson was great as he often is. The revelations about the truth behind old brother Cain striking the blow that laid his brother low, along with the demonic revelations with Abaddon had me saying. “Hm. Somewhat minor details they rather overlooked in Sunday School.” I share your apprehension about the whole Mark of Cain situation. Crowley again swindled the situation to his advantage, and when Dean gets angry about it, I deadpan, “You’re surprised?” The Sam and Castiel scenes were great. Hard to blame Sam for his feelings towards Dean presently, though I’m sure the more ardent and passionate Dean fans will. I agree with you that Castiel was quite supportive. As to the needle. I didn’t fucking appreciate it either. I also had the problem of every time I took a peek, the needle was on screen, leading me to yell, “GodDAMN IT!! Son of a BITCH!!!” One silver lining is Castiel saying if he were his old self he would have kept jabbing away, to which I quipped, “Thank you for the consideration.” Yeah, all of those scenes were stomach churning. You brought up your surgery last May. I don’t blame you for requesting the cover for the IV. The only surgery that I’ve ever had way back when I was around five or six, they wrapped the IV in gauze and obstructed it from view for me as well. I didn’t ask for it, they just did it. Plain gauze mind you, not the pretty purple you said you got, so that’s something on your end. This was all before I was prescribed the medicine that could only be administered via shots which I was given nightly, give or take, for six and a half years straight, which is where my somewhat strong aversion to needles stems from. Mind you, the shot medicine did come with a needle hider. It came in a nice dark blue, which would probably go well with the pretty purple you got back in May. Thus, whenever you speak of your own needle aversion, I feel your pain, Jess. You speak of getting blood drawn, when I get blood drawn, I look just look away until it’s all said and done. Same with other shots, or the times I got the covid vaccines, I just found a spot on the wall to look at whilst they jabbed me. In any case, this was a fun reaction, Jess, thank you.
