I’ve been saying all along, I have a sneaking fear they’re going to go Zutara instead of Kataang, and this could be one big reason Bryke left the project. The studio’s reasoning would probably be some shit like “aang is younger than katara, we think the age-gap would be more realistic if the guy was the older one. So zutara just plays better in live action for us.” They’re already apparently being cowards about showing sexism so I could definitely see them going this route
