After listening to feedback from our amazing community, I’ve made some updates to the frame backing! Some members shared that the original tolerance wasn’t working perfectly for their setups, so I’ve made adjustments to give you more flexibility.

What’s New:

  • High, Medium, and Low Tolerance Backings are now available to accommodate different printer setups.

  • A tester block is included, featuring all three tolerances so you can print it first and figure out which backing works best for you.

✨ This update is free for both Silver and Gold members! ✨

For those who aren’t members, don’t worry! I’ll be posting a Shadowforge on Maker World in the future, and it will include this updated frame. Keep an eye out for the release so you can grab it when it drops!

Thank you all for your feedback—it’s what keeps these designs improving.

Hi there, I am a gold tier member but when I go to select this from the shop it is showing as £8.50. Can you advise?

Adam

thanks!

So if the normal backing didn't work for me, like no matter what i tried it didn't fit, i need to go low? Or is it the opposite?

Adam

That’s what I thought, then I was overthinking it lol. Thanks!!

Ok so I'm still fairly new to this but can you can you tell me or show a picture of how we are to use this? Sorry....noob question LOL

Absolutely! Start by printing the testing block plate. It includes three triangles labeled H (High), M (Medium), and L (Low). Test each triangle by inserting it into the corresponding side of the block. The one that fits best to your liking will indicate the size backing you should print. Personally, I prefer the Medium—it fits snugly and locks in place, whereas the Low fits but can still be pulled out easily. Let me know how it works for you!

Yes, it is made with the spacing so the Shdowforg won't hang out the front and allows the entire image to show
