Hi,

I finished the design and render of the Lizard Queen Throne Room. I am very happy at how it turned out :). Especially the idea that one can see the island you started out at in the distance...
Made in Blender.
Let me know what you think!

In the next few days I'll do the integration and epilogue of the holo adventure and then move on to the Pony Training content and Vee's quest.

Dear Y.V. I have supported you, if not from the very beginning, then close to that (November 2022). You are one of the most stable developers out there i regards to quality and quantity. No matter on how you react to this post, I will continue to support you! But I have some feedback, not towards Space Journey X, but your next project. It is in regards to the mini-games! I know that you love mini-games, if you didn't you wouldn't do so many of them, and I completely understand you. But what I hope for your next game, that when you do your mini-games, then they are an integrated part of the main game, especially when it comes to the lewd stuff. What I mean is that a lot of your games, they feel more like several games that try to get a long, than a coherent game with meaningful mini-games that has an impact on the main game itself. Remember here, if I absolutely didn't like what you were making I would not have been financially supporting you for the past 3 years. My purpose is to make you reflect on your mini-games, and try to figure out how they can be entangled in meaningful ways with the main gameplay loop. I would like to give an example, I have over 400 hours in Karryn's Prison, and that game is such a masterpiece that I have gifted it to 5 other people. I have bought that game 6 times! The mini-games there, they are directly influencing the resources that you need to beat the main game, the management of them directly influence how you are going to beat the main game, not secondary, not tertiary... directly! If you do not own that game yet, and you have a steam account, then I would like to donate the game to you, not for you to copy it, but for you to study it, so that your next game will be even better than your previous game. You can PM me with a Steam friend code. Know that this comes from a position of love, and that I have used you wallpapers, previously Nimhe (but your newest with T'Ris is just too good!), for the past couple of years. I hope that in your next game, that we will feast with mini-games that are made to feel as an integral part of your games, and that the new engine will give you opportunities that you could only dream about! (One day you should try SDL + (C OR C++ OR Odin OR JAI(it's almost out!!!!) I have spoken my part, and am looking towards the future! :D

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I can definitely have a look at KP as to the mechanics employed (I didn't play it yet but if its exemplary for topical mini game elements I should have a look). Regarding the SJX mini games I felt most are tied into the game (to obtain items, move quests along, increase stats). Let me know where that feeling is missing specifically (patreon p.m. I think is best for longer texts). Two or three SJX mini games are kind of gratuitous (some upcoming holodeck stuff, the telescope mini game, ...) but could be tied into the game better I think. The RPG came a bit too late or I would have made much more game related missions there (maybe reworking a few...) Looking forward to the specifics on what your expectations for the mini games and gameplay integration are (e.g. space combat)... Thanks a lot for the longterm support (I am indeed looking forward to a new game engine...). Some prep I already did in the background and some refactoring of SJX will also help me with design elements for the new approach I think...
