Feedback on Early Access looking good. No major issues. I can advance release of V0.4c to 30th of March.

Is there any possible way of predicting when saves will be forward compatible with new updates? I honestly have no idea what's involved in making that happen but it's a bit frustrating having to start over from the beginning with each update.

There will be a feature in V0.4, which allows forward compatible saving of ship subunits (and subsystems, later also bots). It is integrated into a small quest ("Multiverse Pod") As to technical base for general game forward compatibility: I understand the desire for it, but it has been discussed ad nauseam in different forums. The TLDR: For a python-code-heavy renpy game in development, forward compatibility of the game is nearly impossible, the effort would consume considerable portion of the the entire game at the expense of content _and_ still be fraught with errors due to return stack / savepoint dynamics. It is far beyond my skills. Sorry. Hope the Multiverse Pod helps a bit.... Or, to speak with Elrond: "It cannot be done by any craft which I possess."

Sounds like it's just the nature of the beast. Thanks. I'm not surprised that it's impractical/impossible, but I didn't know and I appreciate the thorough response.
