Hi,

today there's a somewhat unusual poll. Sometimes its easier to voice criticism if its anonymous, so I decided to put up a poll with the most negative aspects I can think of someone might have but not voice openly. So this is your time for game bashing! It might lead to positive adjustments in the future. As some of the aspects relate to V0.5, I'll leave this poll up for the next two weeks (until 10.05.), so everyone has the chance to base it on V0.5 (or revisit and change the vote).

I hate that dev is cute 😡

Valderoth Tchétché

Not really hating it, but that's still a Huge minus for me.... not enough big or huge boobs, all the girls have the same level in term of "boobs power". It would be awesome if there was more variations, flat/medium/big/huge/humongous(not a fan but why not), it will lead to more variations in terms of S content via with the training. Well, that's all i had to say. Keep up the good work (and please had more boobs variations 🙏)

y.v.

Do you mean the main character, which is a youngish male adult?

Steve Knox

Maye the MC? I also thought he is "too cute" , a bit on the young side. I don't know if you can change it, but perhaps a bit older looking? Scruffier? Nerf-herder Type? lol.

Steve Knox

As the "Awesome Voice Guy" on the Honest Trailer Channel would say, "Beewbsss"

EdgPer

Would be nice a poll about female characters.

EdgPer

Sometimes is difficult to follow plot instructions (at least to me), as it requires very specific circumstances. Would be great it could be more intuitive. I don’t like to consult the walkthorough document every time.

ezryder914 .

LOL I second the scruffy nerf-herder!

richard MacDonald

Don’t like Nipple piercings - more randomization on ship repairs.

Ashani

I personally don't like character artstyle (technically it's really good). All characters look too young with nimhe being the worst offender who looks under specific age.

y.v.

Thats a good hint. Stylized characters with 1/6 head body ratio have that tendency, that's why I took care to not have any small boob version. The hairstyle of Nimhe might add to the undesired impression. I will do a few test renders giving her a cyberpunk hairstyle/undercut and adjust her facial features a bit. If that work out I will swap her out (she doesn't have that many anims so far) (Some in progress variations on discord: https://discord.com/channels/982330894436171778/1032203985232351302)

Old Salt

Actually, I hadn't thought about a romantic route, but it would be nice. The "grind" is tolerable; crew stress & mood management is tolerable; game incompatibility from version to version is a bit annoying but then again, when new features are added based on prior choices and the choices haven't been accounted for in the earlier versions - it is understandable. I happen to enjoy the character look, just as you have them.

Mic1985

the grind is rough when you have to start over each time.

waffel

?? Nimhe looks around 22- 23

Jakko

I have another huge issue I hate (please post below) - not enough NSFW

Jakko

ship repairs +1

y.v.

You mean the "help in space" mission (Output, Tunneling) or the damages after combat(those go for all subunits)? NVM, the repair jobs on the ship, got it.

Cosmo

Isn't there an "I'm cool with it," option? Well, there's only two real issues I agree with (but don't HATE). The first is the 'grind-rewind.' Sure carrying over some modules helps to mitigate that a bit, but maybe implementing 'richer' asteroids or a new asteroid field with richer rewards, might help. The other issue is the sheer randomness of bot parts. I have 2 incomplete bots that I got all the parts, save one piece, in my storage for over 30 'game' days. Missing Grade 1 Advanced Head and Grade 3 Subpar Legs. Now I realize I could put 'anything' there, but I'd like (think it would be nice) to Custom Order a particular Bot part maybe once a 'game' week (takes that long to deliver/manufacture). That's it, there's my two cents. Loving the game so far, keep up the awesome work!

L.P. Winston

I wouldn't say that mood management is annoying but I'd like to see the crew react differently to the "stresses" they encounter and make the training they receive actually affect their reaction to their stresses (like once their exhibition level reaches a certain point their mood is less or not at all affected by certain uniforms). also maybe make some of the crew fine with certain uniforms or to make things interesting increase the mood of some of the crew when other members of the crew are forced to wear certain uniforms.

MNMaveric

First off, love the game and appreciate all of the hard work you have put into your games - the passion shows! The one thing I am missing though is being able to make love to some alien chicks. Where is my blue alien babe to be a part of my crew? You're telling me you are in space surrounded by a bunch of alien chicks and you haven't tried the local flavor yet? Hard to believe =)

y.v.

Good hints. The EXH impact on mood is planned with V0.6. Other dynamics that make use of that task system I still have to mull over, but I agree it should be used to more effect.

y.v.

The first semi-alien is Khelara, but definitely Ylyee needs to come back for some quest. She may even be the sorely missed romance LI, which is also a point commented on above. I'll design a few aliens (mostly textures and slight physical mods) and post them here or on discord for comments...

y.v.

The grind rewind is gone with V0.6, as continuation points are implemented and work great in the 06DEV version underway. The bots also bugged me, in V0.6 there is an "auction site" in the lab terminal where daily changing high end parts can be handpicked (at outrageous prices though). The special custom order proposal is also a good idea. Will keep that in the list.

y.v.

Today I'm implementing the new repair system, will post the results later. That hopefully takes care of the repair variety & mechanics. Piercings will remain limited to Nimhe as far as main characters are concerned (goes with the cybergoth looks). The Galaxina movies going a bit into BD territory might show some, though.

y.v.

A good idea. Once I have a bunch of alien designs, i'll put up a vote for extras ( and also one for the main characters). I might combine that with some adhoc feedback requests on discord.

BD

I'd love to see some extra side characters, with a range of body types.

y.v.

Muscular and more voluptuous are definitely on the agenda next. probably Space Patrol or Krogneaths's guards for the first, another character (tbd) for the latter.

BD

That's great! I'd love to see one with smaller boobs, too!

Andrew S

I'd like to see Ylyee or maybe Teri as a romance LI.

I clicked Other, not because my issues are "huge" but because they don't really seem to fall within the other categories, Try not to read too much into how long this is. I'm not ranting; I'm just verbose. My number one suggestion (not really a complaint) would be to extend the animated NSFW scenes. In games for this audience, the NSFW is the treasure the players are working toward, and--although I can appreciate that the dev's skill and confidence in these has improved greatly since the first game--these often feel underwhelming on two fronts. First is their brevity. While the full NSFW scene may be plenty long (I'm thinking of T-ris's favors), the actual animation portions for all of them seems to be only a few frames. Second, the animations feel a bit wooden or mechanical. This is probably partly due to the constraints of an animation loop that's only a few frames long; but it's also the posing. For example, T'ris, V, and Leila all provide BJs, but only V's lips actually close around the MC's member. Unlike an earlier commenter, my complaint isn't about quantity of NSFW, but quality. In case it helps, I'd recommend Space Rescue: Code Pink and Confined with Goddesses as examples of satisfying NSFW content. The animations are long enough and include probably difficult things like jiggling flesh, etc. The latter game is CG and I'd be happy to share my game save with you so you can watch the replays without spending time on the whole game, if you want. My number two suggestion would be to sprinkle some more soft-core stuff throughout the game. For example, you might get a motion capture of a woman doing a stripper dance so we can just watch Leila do that instead of only ever getting a BJ from her. And/or you could maybe hire her for a lap dance, thought I realize that might be a major animation if you can't find a motion cap for both the dancer and the customer. Finally, some encouragement. I can tell from the still shots in the scenes with T'ris, that you've accounted for things like breast jiggle between poses because their relative positions on her body are different from shot to shot, so I know you're aware of those kinds of body-mechanic issues that bring a character to life. I just want to see more of that in the (hopefully longer) animations loops. You've created a story-rich game that keeps the MC moving and requires really rather little of what I'd consider grinding, since the fruits of your efforts (like mining) are almost always immediately available in the form of better subunits or pods, etc. The reward (NSFW content, in this case) just needs to feel adequate to the effort (story progression) put into winning it.

y.v.

Thanks for the suggestions. Definitely the posing of the animation frames can still be improved. As all animations are frames for technical reasons and not videos, I am reluctant to add more than 5 or six symmetrically looped frames to large anims. For the same reason mo-cap makes little sense, as that would only show with more frames. I do not want the game to be a bloated 3 GB file. I agree that longer and more NSFW animations are a nice bonus, but I still think they would not be enough if the rest of the game sucks. So I have to balance my effort in a reasonable manner. For the next anims I'll have a look on the "small" things that will nevertheless make the anims more lifelike and enjoyable.

Personally I'd love to have some more intuitive ingame guide of what to do. I have a feeling that I'm running into a wall in regards to what I see in the game and have hardly any clue what to do next. I really wish the game would be more helping in instructing me about what to do. Aditionally I feel there are a lot of features that are not really explained well, like with stress or the missions. I honestly sometimes feel a bit lost with what exactly to do.

y.v.

Good hints. I actually introduced BB-2 for that reason (used it in the beginning tutorial quite a bit). Probably should activate him to offer explantions when you take on your first mission etc. As to what to do next I thought the quest log is helpful to the extent of almost spoilering every step. Maybe some entries are still too vague...

Love the game! No hate!!! That said, I picked one to help the developer, though — no romantic route... It would be interesting to have the possibility to "magick" T'Ris (yeah, the Officer) or the beauty of the ship, Nimhe (the Binary/Nerd). Other than that - the wish-list (ultimate): would be some customization (clothes and piercings...).
