Here's a Jascha/Levi sitting on a bench (in peace??).I've been thinking about how to solve the JaschaLevi conflict in Green&Gold lately, and it's a tough nut to crack.Just like all the other arcs, tbh. Let's be honest lol.

I just have to say how much I love your characters and their (realistically) messy and complex arcs! I used to be bullied in high school, and now I work in mental health research, so I super appreciate how much thought you put into these aspects if the story! Big fan for sure!

I would like to suggest the Jascha/Levi complications end with a messy, future romantic relationship. Also the Levi/Henry complications. As well as any complications between Levi and Tim.... You know what? I kinda just want Levi to collect boyfriends like they were Pokemon. But I'm a bad writer, don't listen to me :D

First, Jasha must accept that his homophobia is a symptom of something in him. 😎 And I’d like Levi himself to open his eyes. With a kiss maybe. And I would like it to one day become one of Levi’s conquests. A fake tough guy who cries for cuddles from his boyfriend. 😏

Probably out of character and a semi crack theory, but what if: Levi, being now "together" with Henry for a while now, has gotten more in tune with himself, feeling confident. Bullying pretty much doesn't work anymore, unless it gets physical of course. He has always been one of the more "open" casts in G&G. If anyone would give out free hugs, it's him or Felix - his charm leans to it. Jascha might be a semi-bully, but he has also shown sensible signs already, signs of short doubts. I can't imagine, that he only attacked Levi so far. At some point, someone (not Levi) will bully Jascha back, for some reason. Maybe Jascha has a quirk or weakness, we as a reader, didn't know about, yet. Now imagine, Jascha gets "defeated" and starts to get really emotional; maybe not crying, but close to it. Most cliché place would be the boys toilet room. Jascha might be looking at the mirror, confused, not knowing what to do, he is now at level 0, at his most vulnerable and emotional state. Levi, enters the room just to wash his hands, at the same time Jascha, also starts to clean his hands. Meanwhile they slowly build up eye contact, without saying a word at all. Levi feels what he is going through and his empathy comes out. Without drying his hands or turning off the tap water, he looks at Jascha and hugs him dearly for ~4-5 seconds. Jaschas shirt gets a bit wet in the back. Jascha, still bamboozled that he got "defeated" by some other bully, can't really comprehend what is happening now to him. Drowned by the noise of two water cocks, eh, water taps, he semi-shouts "Levi!". Levi is now taking a step back and with a big grin says " Jascha!" (not really aggressive, more joyful-sounding) and sprinkles some water in his direction from his hands. (Jascha is close to giggle or get slightly angry, but not quite. extremely mixed in his gestics/mimics) He then continues "Got to catch the bus, tonight is $insert_event_here, sorry. I'm sure that you can handle whatever happened to you. You are the reason why I've gotten so strong mentally this school year, and i'm thankful for that. We might not be friends, but i can't stand see you crying." Levi then quickly walks to the door and leaves the toilet. Before completely closing the door he says "Write me if you need something!" Last shot, Jascha standing in the toilet, we as the viewer, see his back, partly wet at the point where Levi held his wet hands. (was it a ghost hug?) Two panels follow, looking nearly the same. One panel shows his hands touching his back. The very last panel suggests how he uses his hands to rub his eyes, or wash the tears away. We as the viewer don't know if he really cried, it stays a secret for now. +++++++++++++++++ And THAT is the moment, when Jascha and Levi somehow reached their break-even point. Next steps might be - Jascha contacting him via phone - Jascha entering his room, with Henry not there - Scenes, where Jascha sees Levi from far behind, interacting with others like Matthea, Lilly, Sam, Felix, et cetera - and starts to smile honestly, feeling empathy for that small bean that Levi portraits - cliché, but having to team up for some reason (sports?) and somehow getting along. A soccer team, swimming course, something like that. It could be just a a very short section of a chapter, kind of like a time skip with less text and more visual communication. I really need to read through G&G again and look more precisely at how Jascha behaved so far, but instead of forcing a romantic relationship, i would start with a platonic one. Let a chapter end of with Jascha, sitting for example in a living room back at his parents house, typing a message to Levi, probably with a picture of something both are interested in (video game perhaps) "Wanna come?" +++++++++++ Oof, that was alot, but this relationship means a lot to me, more than Piet x Lukas honestly at the moment. Maybe something from it can be used as an inspiration.
