I have this idea for a way that Tim and Piet could start getting along where due to some argument with Levi where Piet is trying to make things up to him he tries to become his mentor right as Tim wants a new mentor. Maybe Piet somehow gets around to saying it first somehow and Tim is blindsided by Piet being the one to do it.
