You (Lisa) and a lot of the commenters have been really down on Piet lately. He's messing up, big time, yeah, but remembering my own adolescence, and several stories from when I was a high school teacher, I just wanna say I have a lot of sympathy for teenagers who mess up big time. They can still grow up into wonderful adults.

Okay I know this is a stupid little thing for me to obsess over, but the quotation marks around "Henry and I" in the penultimate panel are driving me crazy. What are they supposed to mean? What it looks like to me is that he's (wrongly) criticizing Levi's grammar. But in English, "you" is the same in nominative and accusative cases. (English doesn't have a dative, to be the object of "about" in "I know about you and Henry.") So even if Piet thinks it should be a nominative pronoun, there's no distinction in what Levi said in second person. So what is Piet trying to say? If he just means to repeat (changing to first person) what Levi said, I don't think English speakers would use quotation marks for that. It'd just be, > Henry and me? What are you talking about? Quotation marks would imply that he's calling attention to the specific words, rather than to what they mean. Sorry for making a fuss about this...

I guess Levi will do anything to make his brother happy and nicer to him. Even at his own expense. But is it? Would Henry eventually fall for Levi or is he too much into Piet?🙃 Still, Levi obviously deserves Henry more than Piet.
