G&G kind of started out with Piet+Henry being the "main couple". Although I honestly never really went with just one true pairing. I shipped left and right from the beginning. Lukas was more like a "let's add a childhood friend". And now, Lukas+Piet seems to make much more sense story-wise. But I don't like either anymore lol (sorry T_T)

Just let all three date, like Henry suggested with Piet and Thea but instead with Luke Piet & Henry

I wonder what Levi’s story will be. I have to confess that his character has come out to be most intriguing.

My humble opinion, Especially since there’s only four chapters left. Piet should just end up alone. Serving as a lesson. Those who try to please everyone end up pleasing no one. He wants it all and it’s just sorta hurting everyone. He also doesn’t really have a good personality. Behind all the happy facade he’s a really bitter person. Maybe he views himself a victim of circumstance. Consistently having to live up to expectations. Maybe he’s afraid of letting go of his image of himself because it would essentially leave him lost. Like a person stuck on an island not daring to attempt a way back home because it’d be hazardous. Or maybe he’s developed some bad narcissistic tendencies and is kinda incapable of thinking of other people’s feelings when they don’t revolve around him or his image. Should he be alone forever. No. I don’t think so at least. I do believe the story should end with a strong indication that Piet will work on himself and maybe, in the future, find someone who’s more compatible with him.

Honestly the second photo makes the banner of Piet and Henry really hilarious now. I've always been under the assumption that Henry liked Piet for trying. With Piet always being busy but he kept coming back to talk with Henry about what he was going through with Henry's break up. I always thought Henry might be the one to help Piet feel comfortable in learning who he is and what he wants kind of similar to how Henry makes Tim feel comfortable enough to feel chill, for a lack of a better description.

Mainly a small opinion I have to other fellow fans wanting Piet to remain alone mainly because of his ongoing actions so far. I think overall a lot of people overlook the fact that Piet is still a teenager. We have to remember that he’s under a lot of pressure from his parents, which has led him to become obsessed with being the “perfect” kid. In my personal view, Piet should experience a reality check in one of the upcoming chapters a moment where his house of cards comes crashing down. However, he should eventually find a way to work through his struggles and end up with the person he truly wants to be with. Again, that’s just my personal conclusion on how Piet’s story should unfold. We need to keep in mind that Piet is still a teen, not a fully mature adult who completely understands the consequences of his actions. I think that’s what makes GG such a compelling coming of age story, especially for LGBTQ teens.

Idk it may be just me but thro the story I felt like Henry's feelings are extrimly one-sided, even after the kiss Piet was like nah ima stay with Thea 💀

At first I really liked Piet + Henry because their connection felt very genuine and I could see that Piet was drawn to Henry too.But as the years/chapters passed, I feel like the story showed that Piet still had very strong feelings for Lukas. And that his feelings for Lukas are way stronger than anything he seemed to be developing for Henry. By the point they kissed, I don't think I shipped them together anymore (I ship Henry and Levi now but I loved the kiss between Piet and Henry, it was so messy and years in the making).

I have to admit that's distressing to hear. I started reading G&G a while ago and I've been riding the Henry/Piet shipping train ever since. I hope that if you've decided to end-game another pairing, especially if they're hetero, you'll please let us know

Yesterday I read the scene when Levi moves into Henry’s room. They connect immediately. Henry being the shadow of his sister Annette made him connect with Levi’s being the shadow of Piet’s golden boy status. They bonded in a 5 minute conversation deeper than Henry and Piet through the entire story so far. That connection is what makes everyone ship Levi/Henry, they feel natural, despite the age difference. Piet and Henry don’t feel right together.
