Chapter #18: Program completed.

It’s been a few days since Harry and Daphne made love, and since then, they’ve experienced what it’s like to date, for Daphne is a first time while for Harry it is a very different experience.

The experience was so much different than when he was first liking Ginny, the redhead back then was just trying to make him jealous by dating other guys, or at least that’s the conclusion he came to when she told him she did it because she wanted to catch his attention, those days were awful because sometimes he was like a monster full of jealousy.

But this time, things were developing at a very interesting pace, he was feeling attracted to someone, and the other person felt the same towards him, which was making the dynamic even better.

However, today was an important day, today, they had no time to act like a couple, they weren’t too happy about it, but they knew it was a sacrifice they needed to make, because today was the day the program concluded.

Harry was finally wearing the same clothes he had worn on the first day, he was in the living room watching TV while he was waiting for Daphne to show up, he was so immersed in his thoughts, worried about their relationship being discovered and being punished by it, but then his thoughts were interrupted by a voice.

“Harry…Harry…Harry!” The emerald-eyed wizard finally snapped off his thoughts.

“Oh, Daphne…You look—” Harry couldn’t believe it.

She was wearing white running shoes, tight blue jeans, and a tight red blouse that showed a bit of her flat stomach, some cleavage, and her arms were completely exposed, and to make things better, her hair was fixed in a ponytail.

“Wow,” he said, completely awed at her looks. She looked like a real-life Barbie doll.

“I guess I should take that as you liking the way I look,” she said before giggling and running towards him.

Soon she captured his lips, that kiss made all his worries disappear, there were many things Harry wanted in life, but having Daphne like this was something he would like to have in the near future, he doesn’t know where this was taking them, but he’s hopeful that they’re at least on the same page now.

“We need to get going,” Harry said, and she groaned.

“I know…” She was a bit annoyed.

They were reluctant, but in the end, they forgot about their desires, it was time to perform their duty, there was no time to slack off, so, they finally grabbed their things and soon, they were outside, some of the pairs were already there too.

“Daphne!” It was Astoria.

She was wearing black stilettos, a red mini skirt, and a tight black blouse, she was smiling broadly once she saw them, she couldn’t help but share an amusing expression as she saw how close her sister and Harry were.

“Astoria…Isn’t that skirt too short?” Even Daphne couldn’t believe how her precious, innocent sister could wear something like that.

“It’s alright, many muggle women wear even shorter skirts!” Astoria said with a happy expression.

But then, she became serious and whispered something in Harry’s ear.

“You better not hurt her, you’re her first boyfriend, treat her as she deserves to be treated, or you’re going to know hell!” She whispered and then smiled innocently at him.

Harry was a bit disturbed but decided to nod, it’s not like he was scared, after facing Voldemort, it was hard to feel scared, but there was one thing that was clear to him, the last thing he wanted was to hurt Daphne, so, he understood why her sister could be worried.

“Harry!” Suddenly, another voice joined them, it was Hermione.

Parkinson was with her, and she was dressed in the same way she came the first day, it seems like fashion wasn’t one of her interests, like Daphne and her sister, but Parkinson at least seemed to be obsessed with her phone, which was somehow progress.

Harry and Hermione shared a hug, then she saw Daphne and smiled at her, they shared a handshake because it seemed like from now on, they were going to see each other more often.

Hermione was expecting the blonde to glare at her, but all the opposite happened, actually, the blonde smiled and told her she was hoping to get to know better the woman Harry had been friends with for years, those words made Hermione happy and curious at the same time.

“Astoria!” This time, it was Draco, he looked desperate, he wanted to run and hug Daphne’s sister.

However, he was stopped by the tall, muscular, dark-skinned muggle-born wizard who was in his forties, and if Harry could perfectly say something about him, judging by his looks is that he was some kind of military guy.

“Malfoy, you’re out of place, the program hasn't ended yet, I'm still in charge of you, one hundred push-ups for breaking the rules!” Ordered the older wizard.

Malfoy looked scared, however, soon, he was doing push-ups as if his life depended on it, it seemed like he had been put through some military training throughout the whole thing, Harry couldn’t help but feel amused at the sight.

“In the muggle world, people like Malfoy get sent to the military all the time to correct them, I’m sure this will give him the character development he desperately needs!” Harry said, amused.

Soon, the goodbye ceremony started, Kingsley personally came to congratulate everyone and to invite the participants to become instructors for the next participants, many were excited about it.

“…And just like this, I hope this little experiment was just the starting point for many of you to realize that muggles aren’t the savages we’ve been told they were since we were young, when we were taught to hate them and that maybe, they have interesting things too, things that we don’t have, thank you for participating!” The minister finished his speech, and soon everyone clapped.

Daphne and Harry couldn’t help but hold hands and look straight into each other’s eyes, yes, the future was looking bright for them.

EPILOGUE

It’s been a year since Daphne was part of the program, and she was happy to say that she has become some kind of muggle ambassador. She’s now promoting everything she learned in the muggle world, of course, many purebloods, including her parents, weren’t happy about that fact and the fact that she was now dating Harry Potter.

But eventually they got used to it, in the end, two of the most powerful families will join if things turn out right for Harry and Daphne, now her parents see it as a great honor that their future grandchildren will probably have the blood of the hero who saved the world, as for the dark-haired wizard he’s participating with the blonde giving conferences across the country.

Parkinson and Hermione have become official, and Malfoy has become quite muscular, it seems like the military training really helped him, and now Astoria is more attracted to him than she already was to the cowardly Death Eater.

Right now, Daphne and Harry are sharing an expensive dinner at one of the most luxurious restaurants in Paris, celebrating their engagement.

“For the future,” the blonde said as they shared a drink.

Harry smiled and did the same thing and after taking a sip of their drink, they shared a kiss, this kiss was a symbol, times are changing, the future now looks better for the wizarding world and Harry and Daphne feel happy to be at the center of it, they want the world to change and they’re not going to stop until their dream becomes true, both of them were grateful for the Muggle integration program.
