Chapter #1: Altered reality.
At Hogwarts, the battle was finally over. Harry Potter stood tall and proud; his enemy, Lord Voldemort, the one who killed his parents, the one who had been terrorizing the world for a long time, was lying on his back, and he was wearing a lifeless expression.
“Well, Tom, it’s over…I’d wish you a good stay in hell, but—” Harry couldn’t continue.
Soon, he opened his eyes wide, and now everything was dark. He was in an elegant room, completely confused; he had no idea where he was, but there was one thing clear: he had no idea where he was. He was immersed in his thoughts until he heard some sounds which confused Harry.
“Ginny?” He asked with a concerned expression.
Could it be that the war was nothing but a dream? Maybe it was a prophetic one, and he was shown a future that he could prevent? Maybe he could do something to avoid all the deaths and destruction that will take place. The thought made him smile.
However, he heard another sound from the other side of the bed. Sleeping with two people who, judging by the sounds they were letting out, were obviously women, didn’t make any sense, so he decided to uncover the people under the blankets, and his eyes widened once he saw that Ginny was not one of them, there were two blonde women, even if one was older than the other, the age difference wasn’t much.
“Daphne Greengrass…Fleur Delacour? What the hell are they doing in my bed? I mean, in a certain way, it makes sense for me to date Fleur, but isn't she married to Bill?!” Harry questioned himself with a concerned expression.
As for Daphne, even though they weren’t friends, he knew who she was, but they rarely interacted, so seeing her with him in a position like this was weird, even by his usual standards of what is considered weird in his life.
He decided to get on his feet, this might be a confusion, maybe it’s a trap Ginny made to test his loyalty, so, he grabbed his glasses and wand, and soon got out of the bed, he left the room as silently as possible and when he was out of the room he was surprised to see that the house was really big.
He went downstairs and soon reached the living room. He was about to go to the kitchen to grab some water to pour on his face when he was shocked to find some moving paintings, and many of them included him throughout his life.
“This is weird…I don’t remember posing for a magical portrait,” Harry said with clear confusion on his face.
And then he was shocked as he saw two people, he wasn’t expecting to see alongside him; there was a man who looked like him and a woman with red hair.
“No…This can’t be—” He couldn’t continue because he soon fell on his knees.
Out of nowhere, many memories started to appear in his mind, his days as a baby, how his parents, Remus and Sirius were always playing with him, but all those memories were so much different compared to the life he has lived. His parents were always happy in his memories, and the war he thought would happen, actually never took place.
One memory that he remembered clearly was when he met Hermione during a visit to the doctor when he was just two years old, something weird considering they didn’t meet until they were at Hogwarts, and also, his parents were there, and as time passed by, his fifth birthday came, his Hogwarts letter came and during all those events, his parents were always with him.
Slytherin was very different from what he was used to; he was sorted there just like Hermione. Just the thought of a Muggleborn in Slytherin would be considered madness according to his memories, but she was actually accepted. The two childhood friends became friends with Daphne, but they were also friends with Ron, Neville, Seamus, Dean, and Luna, who were from other houses alongside other people, something unbelievable for a Slytherin student.
Snape somehow didn’t treat him like crap; in fact, he was married to his aunt Petunia, and Dudley was a wizard who was in Gryffindor instead of him. None of this made any sense.
“Maybe Voldemort put me in an illusion charm?!” Harry wondered before gulping.
The thought of being trapped in an illusion creeped him out, but it didn’t make sense. He killed him, that was for sure; he saw the monster that ruined the world catch his last breath before his life finally ended.
“Harry dear, are you alright?” Daphne asked as she joined him in the living room.
“Yes, mon amour, we miss you in bed…” Fleur said, and those words shocked him.
Then the memories keep flowing, he remembers when he started dating Daphne during his second year just like Hermione started dating Pansy Parkinson, and the years kept going with nothing crazy happening, there was no philosopher’s stone in his first year, in fact, that was the year his father started teaching "defense against the dark arts" and his mother "muggle studies" for regular students. "Potions" and "charms" to postgraduate students.
Surprisingly, there was no basilisk in his second year. Sirius has always been a free man, and he and Remus have a Quidditch business, so the man isn’t as pathetic as he was in his previous life. The tri-wizard tournament took place, but it happened as it was intended, with Cedric becoming the champion, and because he already had a girlfriend, he never fell for Fleur, which made her want to be friends with them.
There was no Umbridge during his fifth year, and no "Half-Blood Prince" book during his sixth year because his mother already tutored him with potions, and he was friends with Malfoy. His seventh year was intense as the material was very hard, but it was all worth it because after graduating, he joined the Auror forces.
After graduating, he and Daphne decided to date Fleur, who had been a long-time friend. It was hard for their parents to approve this three-way relationship but considering that both women were the heirs of their families, in the end, they had the final say.
Apparently, he married them in a ceremony in Italy; the people who assisted were his friends and loved ones. Hermione was there too, of course, with Bellatrix, the woman who acted as Harry's mentor when he joined the Auror forces. This was a life he had lived, and that somehow forgot; is this really his life? His reality?
Or maybe this is just a fantasy, and in truth, he’s in a weird state in which Voldemort has been defeated, but at the same time, he consumed too much magic, and he's now in this mental state? He had no idea what to believe; was all of this real? He didn’t know, but for now, he decided to pretend; he didn’t want to raise suspicions in case Fleur and Daphne decided to attack him if they realized he was not acting as usual.
“Oh…Yes, I just needed some water. I had a strange dream,” Harry told them with a weak smile.
The women looked at each other with confused expressions, but then they smiled.
“Well, I guess that’s what happens when you fuck your wives senseless every night…” Daphne said as she grabbed one of his arms, then she gave him a quick peck.
“Come on, let’s get you that water, dear,” Fleur said before softly kissing his lips.
They soon moved to the kitchen, and the women sat while Harry filled his glass. He was about to drink it, but he suddenly saw something reflected in a glass that made the glass fall on the floor.
“Shit…I’m so stupid!” Harry said angrily.
Fleur and Daphne looked at him with concerned expressions. Soon, he grabbed his wand and repaired the glass; however, even if he managed to get the water back, he didn’t drink because it had been on the floor.
“Harry, are you okay?” Asked Daphne with a raised brow.
“This is weird, you usually would've made the elves clean,” Fleur tried to tease him.
Harry smiled awkwardly.
“Yeah…I’m okay, I guess I’m not in my five senses yet,” he joked. “Well, I’ve been trying for you girls, I mean, no one wants to be a useless partner,” he said with fake enthusiasm.
However, he soon became serious and ran to the bathroom, the women looked at him with perplexed expressions but they decided to let him be, Harry on the other hand couldn’t wait to reach the bathroom, the house was too big and he forgot where the bathroom was located, however, he needed to find it on his own because it would be weird if he asked his wives where the bathroom of his own home was.
“Fuck this,” Harry grabbed his wand and made a small mirror appear, and his eyes widened once he looked at himself in the mirror. “The scar…It’s healed, but it’s still there,” Harry said before gulping.
There was clearly something weird going on in this apparently perfect world. It seems like all the people he loved were there, and they were okay. Apparently, this is a world in which the second wizarding war didn’t happen. If that's the case, how the hell did he get that scar?
