Chapter #33: A talk with Fleur.

Harry and Fleur were finally dressing up, they’ve been gone for at least half an hour, not a bad time to enjoy a quickie, they knew they shouldn’t be out of sight for too long unless they wanted to arise suspicions, he didn’t want to be caught by McGonagall in this position, so, it was decided that after just after three orgasms, they would head back to where they should be.

“That was really hot, Harry,” said the witch with the French accent as she finished dressing.

“I know, I would love to repeat this, Fleur; however, there’s something that’s kind of bothering me, and it’s the fact that I don’t know what your goal is,” Harry said with a calm tone.

The blonde veela looked at him with a serious expression. Harry knew he was being very bold about this, but it was hard for him to trust people in this universe. Thanks to his Auror training, he was able to control his emotions and not become a mess, even though inside he was feeling he was going to get stabbed in the back any second.

In different times, the sight of his parents would’ve caused him to cry and want to get close to them, but his current self wasn’t as simple-minded as he was back then, so he wanted to know why Fleur was the one who decided to follow him, aside from the fact that she was clearly attracted to him.

She suddenly smiled, and Harry couldn’t help but raise a brow. She was behaving interestingly to say the least, he remained silent for a few moments, and then she started to giggle.

“Well, well, it seems like you truly have trust issues, uh?” She couldn’t help but question. “I like that, Harry, I’m glad you’re being cautious, this is a dangerous world, and people are always trying to find ways to screw you, so please, don't let them,” Fleur warned him, and Harry nodded.

He was well aware of that fact.

“Very well, because you gave me a fun evening, I’m going to be honest with you,” she clarified her voice. “Sirius has been trying to date me, of course, I reject all his proposals, but he still insists. When you left the place, he said that you were an arrogant asshole, and so, I did this to make him angry,” she giggled.

Harry couldn’t help but arch a brow; this version of Fleur was truly interesting, to say the least.

“Also… I want you to join the order and no… I’m not doing this because Dumbledore or the rest asked me to, or to do one of those idiotic missions to climb ranks, I don’t need that, I know I’m strong, and that’s it,” she said with an arrogant smirk.

Harry checked out her mind, and he realized that she was, in fact, telling the truth; there were no other hidden motives behind her actions. Still, Harry felt a bit conflicted right now.

“I think it would be fun,” she added with a soft smile.

Harry couldn’t help but feel surprised. Fun, that’s the thing he’s been searching for years, life had become so stale and dull back in his timeline that he was starting to go insane.

“Fun… That’s something I’ve been missing for a long time,” Harry couldn’t help but admit with a serious expression.

“Well, it seems that’s something we have in common,” Fleur admitted with a calm expression.

“Really?” Harry was surprised to hear those words.

“Harry… I’m perfect,” she said with a mischievous smile, and he just funnily rolled his eyes, causing her to giggle.

“And also humble, don't forget that,” Harry teased her.

“I’m being serious, I’m perfect… Or well, the world says I’m perfect, they have a certain idea of what is perfect, and somehow, I represent all that,” she admitted with a lost expression.

“It must be a heavy burden to carry,” Harry noted, and she nodded.

“Yes, because it forces me to always be the same, to not change and remain in this state of perpetual behavior, I want more things in life than being beautiful and graceful, Harry,” she couldn’t help but admit with a sigh.

“And I want to prove to myself that I can do things no one expects me to do, I want to fulfill my dreams,” he said with a serious tone.

Somehow, he was telling Fleur about his true desires, but not with complete honesty. She smiled at him after what he said.

“Then… Why don’t we do it, Harry? Why don’t we try together and get out of our comfort zone?” She said with an extended hand.

Harry remained silent for a few moments; he was considering a lot of things, his wishes, his desires, but most of all, what he truly wished to do with his life. It was a really difficult question that couldn't be answered in a hallway.

“I guess I can at least attend one meeting,” he couldn’t help but suggest. “As long as you’re there, I guess I can go, I don’t know why, but the Potters, their friends, and Dumbledore… All of them make me feel a bit uneasy, but if you say it can be fun, I guess I can at least try,” he told her with a smile.

Fleur smiled triumphantly, and then, they held each other’s hands for a few moments before they shared a kiss. Ten minutes later, they were already partying their way. Harry was going back to the party while Fleur decided to reunite with the order members, and when she arrived with the Potters and the rest, they looked at her with surprised expressions.

“What happened, Fleur? Did you really speak with him?” Asked Sirius with a raised brow.

“Yes… And he told me that he’s at least attending one of our meetings. I told him that it could be fun, and it’s just like I suspected… Harry and I… We’re very alike… Strong, beautiful, and with complex minds, minds that no normal person can comprehend,” Fleur declared with a beautiful smile.

Sirius couldn’t help but feel uneasy after hearing that. It seems like he underestimated Harry; it only took him less than an hour to make Fleur fall for him. He could be a formidable rival if Sirius didn’t move carefully.

“Wait… He’s coming?” Asked Lily with a shocked expression.

“Yeah… He gave us a chance, we'd better make it fun for him or else he'll quickly lose interest, although I don’t know why you’re all so insistent on making him join, he doesn’t look interested in fighting, he prefers to avoid conflicts as far as I know,” Fleur couldn’t help but say as she caressed her chin.

It finally dawned on Lily, James, and the rest that Harry, the stranded son, was finally coming back to the place he was born, to the place where he was supposed to be if it weren’t for the curse that took over him.

“I don’t recommend you bothering him too much, he told me he feels a bit uneasy about all of you. I don’t know what you guys did to him, but I can assure you of something… If you try anything against him, you're going to face the wrath of a fully matured veela,” Fleur said with a serious tone.

They were surprised to hear those words, not because they doubted Fleur would do that, but because she doesn’t warm up to anyone, not even to Sirius (who constantly flirts with her), could make her act like that. It seems like Harry is more interesting than they predicted.
