Chapter #60: The real me, part I.

Heavy rain started as James came back after taking care of his wife. She was refusing to rest, but James somehow managed to convince her; that was a great achievement considering she’s stubborn to the bone. He arrived with the rest of the group, but before he could say something, the front door of the house was destroyed.

“What the…” Said James, and soon their eyes widened at the sight.

Death Eaters, and there were lots of them here, and all of them had masks.

“Where is he?!” Demanded a death eater, everyone recognized his voice, it belonged to Lucius Malfoy, the older wizard seemed desperate for some reason.

Everyone looked at him with raised brows.

“Where is your son?!” Demanded the blonde once again.

“I’m not letting you harm Henry; you better have—” James was stopped as Lucius cast the cruciatus on him.

The screams of pain filled the place, everyone was outnumbered, and yet, the need to help was strong; however, before they could do it, the Death Eaters decided to restrict them.

“No… Not this one; this one is useless. We want the other, the one whom the dark lord considers his true enemy,” Lucius demanded angrily as he stopped the cruciatus.

Everyone gasped after hearing those words, and Lucius couldn’t help but chuckle.

“Yes… All of you have been under the impression that your useless son, Henry Potter, is the one who dared to oppose the Dark Lord. Oh, how wrong all of you have been; you’ve wasted precious years instead of focusing on the right son,” Lucius said with an amused expression.

“James, what is he…?” Hermione tried to question.

However, Lucius decided to speak this whole time.

“Of course you know him as Harry… Dursley,” and soon, as if it were a thing of destiny, a thunder was heard as the storm became more intense.

And speaking about Harry, he was running as fast as he could towards Potter Manor. He took out a mirror; it was a communication device based on the one the marauders use; however, you can do much more stuff with this; it’s planned to be used for video calls, sending text messages and playing video games.

It's obvious that this is like a magical cellphone- that’s the project he had been working on and that he wanted Hermione to help him with. If she was going to become the youngest minister of history, then she needed to do something as amazing as this that would change the magical world forever.

However, right now it wasn’t the right moment to think about such things, considering he knew that everyone was in danger, so he needed to call for some backup.

“Bella, Bella,” Harry called.

Then, on the other side of the mirror, the figure of Bellatrix Black in nothing but a small black gown made with a material that showed her amazing body, she was yawning; however, she quickly recovered.

“Harry… What is—” she couldn’t continue as Harry interrupted her.

“The plan Bella… It’s time to put the plan in action; I need you to do your part,” Harry whispered in a low tone.

He was finally near the manor.

“Look, your former friends are here to kill the Potters.” Harry moved the mirror.

And if he were taking a video, the older witch was looking at the scene with horror.

“Well, it seems like they left the place unguarded… This is the right moment to put the plan into action; I’ll get on it,” the dark-haired witch said with a serious tone.

This was the perfect opportunity for her to redeem herself.

“Harry… I would do anything to fulfill my mission, but if I don’t survive, I want you to know that… I love you,” she said as she got ready to leave.

Now she was fully dressed.

“Don’t say such things, Bella… I know you’re going to survive and when this is over… I’m going to show you that I love you too,” Harry told her with a soft smile.

The older witch’s face suddenly lit up; to hear those words made her feel motivated. She wanted to prove to Harry that she was different now and that she was willing to do anything to make it up for all the fucked up stuff she did. Harry has assigned her a really difficult mission, but she was planning to succeed; there was no other way for her.

“Good luck, Bella,” Harry added.

“Good luck to you too, Harry,” she declared before finally ending the transmission.

Now back with everyone at the manor, there was nothing but shock; not only was Henry in that state, but her friends too. However, he was surprised to see that his family's friends weren't shocked by the revelation.

“What? No, it can’t be… That useless piece of shit can’t be my brother!” Henry said angrily.

He didn’t want to believe it.

“Please, Dad… Tell him that he’s wrong—” Henry was stopped.

“Yes… It’s true… Harry, he’s our youngest son, the one who had to be sent away because we thought he was a threat to the world... To us,” James admitted, ashamed of himself.

Henry was on the verge of losing his mind, his biggest nightmare had become a reality, and now it was explained why his parents were so eager to have Dursley at home, they wanted to feel like parents to him, at least in a little sense.

“No… There’s no way.” Henry was in denial.

“We don’t have time for this, just—” Lucius was about to say; however, suddenly there was an attack.

To everyone’s shock, Lucius’ stomach had been pierced; it was a cutting charm on a different level. Usually, that kind of attack cuts deep, and it can be fatal if the attack lands in the right place; however, to see an attack pierce a person’s body with a radius of at least a foot was really impressive.

“What the…” Lucius said, shocked.

Then, walking slowly and carrying something, appeared the man of the night, it was Harry, and he was back.

“Well, well, it seems like you guys have been waiting for me. I’m sorry, there were matters I needed to take care of first,” Harry said as he threw Peter Pettigrew’s body on the floor.

There were shocks in the room, not only because he appeared to have a different personality, but also because of the small amount of power he had shown, and yet, that was to impress them.

“Severus… If you don’t want to get harmed, then get that ridiculous mask off and join the right side,” Harry demanded.

There was some muttering, no one speaks to Snape like that, and so, the Death Eater decided to attack him instead of obeying. What a fool, Harry thought, he was still trying to keep up his façade as a fellow Death Eater, and soon, a duel started.

Snape’s attacks were strong, but he was a bit rusty; after all, it’s been almost twenty years since he was in a real fight, back then, he was part of the death eaters for real and he attended their raids religiously, however, Harry had more than ten years of experience as an Auror, a profession in which he was constantly fighting and so he was moving gracefully.

Harry was unbothered; in fact, he seemed to be playing with Snape, something that made the dark wizard feel offended. Under different circumstances, Harry would’ve enjoyed this, but there was no time to play, so he decided to finish the duel and put Snape to sleep with an attack he didn’t expect, and soon, everyone looked at him with shocked expressions.
