Chapter #1: A beautiful stranger.
The war was over. Harry was in the house his godfather left him. He was alone; right now Kreacher was cleaning, and he was probably doing that because he was used to it rather than because it was his duty; however, even though Harry shared the house with the elf, it was hard to consider Kreacher pleasant company.
As for Harry, he was now reflecting on everything that happened to get to this point… Voldemort was dead, but he didn’t go without taking others with him. He took innocents; he killed, he destroyed, he ruined the lives of those who survived, because even though the war was over, the scars that it left were going to be hard to cure, and that’s if there’s even a cure for it.
“Now what?” Harry said to himself as he thought about what he was going to do now.
This was just like that time when he received his letter for Hogwarts. He was expecting to go to a normal middle school, then go to a high school, and if he had the motivation, maybe go to a mediocre university. But then the Hogwarts letter arrived, and that changed his life, and it made him happy for the first time.
However, the happiness didn't last for too long because, since the day he arrived, he also entered a permanent fight-or-flight mode, and that latter thing is the one that has been controlling his life; he has known nothing but fighting since the day he came to the magical world.
“Should I accept that invitation to join the Auror forces?” He asked himself.
He hated to admit it, but fighting is the thing he has done since the day he arrived and the thing he’s the best at, there’s no doubt about it, if he wanted to, he could live off what his parents left him alongside the fortune Sirius’ left him too, he could rest and finally put his wand down but he’s not so sure if he wants to do that.
He was about to call it quits for the day; however, he soon heard a strange sound in one of the rooms. To make things worse, all that was happening in a room he didn't want to enter, and that was Sirius’ parents' former room that he had decided to leave as it is because of Kreacher.
However, the sound that was coming sounded violent, like a thunderstorm, and that was worrying. He decided to get his wand ready; however, before he opened the door of the room that belonged to Sirius' parents, he decided to tell someone what he was about to do.
“Hermione… Ron, there’s a problem at Grimmauld Place. If something happens, I left everything I own to you guys,” he said before he sent the message on a Patronus.
And then he finally opened the door, and when he did, his eyes widened. In the middle of the room, there was a spiral of light; he was worried about this. None of this made any sense.
“Kreacher… Is this yours?” Asked Harry with a raised brow.
Then the house elf appeared, and he was almost as surprised as Harry.
“No, master Potter, I was cleaning the house using old master’s schedule,” the elf said with a serious tone.
However, it was clear that he was worried about what was going on here. This was his old master's bedroom; of course he would be concerned. If Harry could describe the thing, it would be like a small spiral galaxy, but before Harry could say something, they were joined by Hermione and Ron.
“Harry… We came as fast as we could; we were worried and—” It was Hermione, and she stopped in her tracks at the sight.
It was clear that the two of them had been engaging in couple-like activities; they were still trying to fix their robes; however, the sight was too surprising to keep doing that.
“What’s that?” Ron asked, shocked.
“I have no clue, mate,” Harry answered in a plain tone.
It was true; there was no clear explanation for this.
“You did well by calling me, Harry. Get your wands ready,” Hermione warned them.
Harry didn’t think twice, and he did as he was told. Ron, on the other hand, needed more information; however, in the end, he got his wand ready, and soon their eyes widened as something, or rather someone started to emerge from the spiral thing.
“Is that…?” Harry asked, worried.
“Yes… It’s a person,” Hermione said in a worried tone.
Soon there were more of the person; there were two hands, two arms, and then, as if the person was being kicked out of the portal thing, now the person was completely revealed. It was a woman with platinum blonde hair, and she was wearing a white dress.
“What the…” Harry couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
The woman was stunning.
“What the? Where’s my husband? And where's my brother? What is this place?” She asked, completely confused.
There was worry in her purple eyes, and after realizing she had no wand, they decided to get this over with and run to help her; however, she tried to defend herself with three black rocks she was carrying.
“Wait a minute… Are those dragon eggs?” Ron asked, surprised.
Of course he would know; Charlie always sends photos of eggs and hatchlings from the reserve he works at.
“That’s what the person who gave me this said, but it doesn’t matter; there’s no way to wake them up- all dragons are dead, and no one knows how to hatch them,” the woman said in a sad tone.
“What are you talking about? There are countless books explaining the process of dragon hatching; there are people all over the world raising and taking care of dragons!” Hermione said, scandalized.
“That’s not true… You’re lying!” The blonde said with a furious look.
“Okay, okay, we’ll talk about dragons later. For now, there are more important matters to take care of, like knowing who you are and how you managed to get into my house,” Harry said as he started to lose his patience.
Despite being outnumbered and despite the fact that she was being pointed at with wands, the blonde got on her feet gracefully.
“Daenerys… My name is Daenerys, and I can’t tell you my last name because I have my reasons, now, if you excuse me, I have to find a way to get back to my wedding. I was about to get married when this thing brought me here,” the blonde said with a serious look.
It was clear that there were things she was hiding, but she wasn’t going to say anything.
“No… It can’t be,” Hermione said with her eyes wide open.
“Hermione, what’s wrong?” Asked Ron in a concerned tone.
“Hermione?” Harry was confused.
“I used Legilimency on her. Her name is Daenerys Targaryen; she got married to a warlord in exchange for his army to recover the throne that was stolen from her family,” Hermione said with a shocked expression.
“What? How did you—” Daenerys soon realized her mistake.
“Sounds rough, but what’s so surprising about that, Hermione? There are a lot of wars in the magical world right now; hell, we’ve just gotten out of one.” Harry was surprised by Hermione’s attitude.
“Because she comes from a land called Westeros, and that place doesn’t exist in this world,” Hermione told them.
“What?” Daenerys was confused.
Harry grabbed a book about the magical world and tried to find information about Westeros, but there was nothing.
“Do you know what a TV is? A phone?” Asked Hermione to the blonde.
Daenerys shook her head.
“Wands? Hogwarts?” She asked once again, and Daenerys shook her head once again.
“No, I don’t know what you’re talking about.” The blonde was starting to get annoyed.
Hermione walked around the room, and then it finally occurred to her.
“You… You’re a dimensional traveler, and a magical one, I must say, but the main point is that you're a dimensional traveler; there’s no other explanation for this,” Hermione said with a serious tone.
“Magic? There’s no such thing as magic—” Daenerys was about to counterargue; however, the fact that the brown-haired woman managed to read her thoughts meant that there were at least magical powers in this place.
“Oh…” The blonde said, shocked.
“Oh, indeed,” Hermione agreed with her.
This was a very crazy situation; they had just dealt with a murderous maniac, and now they had a dimensional traveler. It was clear that Harry’s life would never be peaceful, but for some reason, he couldn’t stop staring at her.
