Alright, our first Ukulele Challenge in Medellín. It was a majority success because we got one young person excited about learning the Ukulele (check out her face at the very end, ear to ear smile) but we got rained out and had some trouble with wind in the mic, so learning to perfect our Ukulele Challenges is also a work progress. This is what we are going to be doing on our road trip through the United States in towns and parks and farmers markets, anywhere there are people! We also have dates for Ukulele seminars the 8th of June in Kalamazoo, Michigan. 2nd of July in Bellevue Washington (thanks Debra!) and the 19th and 20th (thanks Spencer!) in and around Denver Colorado. Still looking to firm up dates for the Portland, San Fransisco and Santa Cruz area as well as Las Vegas. But we need your help! Two things, if you are in the west coast we would love to come see you, let us know of any clubs out that way, also we are way under budget on our campaign and as you know it all adds up, so if you have an extra dollar (or more) it is always appreciated.

Thank all of you kind hearted people and I hope to see you in June and July!

Ukulele Challenge: Medellín, Ciudad Del Río

Think you can't play an instrument, watch us teach Laura in 1:23 seconds! Help make our teaching tour come true: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/march-to-a-million-creating-a-million-musicans-music-guitar/x/16595527#/ Now, realistically a person can't "learn" an instrument in 5 minutes, but a person can learn enough to play and enjoy some basic and fun things on the Ukulele in 5 minutes, that is where the idea of the 5 minute Ukulele challenge has come from. Today we are going to Ciudad del Río in Medellín to do a Ukulele Challenge, the idea is to find random people and inspire them to play this wonderful instrument. In 5 minutes you can learn enough to strum a long and play some great tunes, it is a great way to approach learning and take responsibility for your own learning, helping to save the arts! We also have an indie gogo campaign as we are looking to rent a van and drive across the United States doing the same thing, town to town, to spread the love and inspire people to learn Ukulele, hopefully some day 1,000,000! This is our march to a million musicians, please help us make that dream a reality. Remember you too can learn Ukulele, everything you need right here on this channel with new lessons every Wednesday and Saturday and all you have to do is subscribe and learn.

This is exciting! I love about 1.5 hours from Denver. Definitely post times and addresses when you have them so I can arrange to be there. Yay!
