One of my skype students Maxwell taught me about this one, thanks man! The video is a Spike Jones video too, and he did Where the Wild Things Are, which I also love. Digressing a little too much, this is a great tune, easy to play, it has to barre chords so you could transpose it to C and make it a lot easier, but I like it in D and they are two easy barre chords with one easy strum pattern, you can do it!

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs - Easy Ukulele Tutorial

New Ukulele tutorials every Wednesday and Saturday subscribe and learn! Today we are going learn how to play "The Suburbs" by Arcade Fire. This is what I would consider to be an easy song even though it has two barre chords. The two barre chords that are in the song are two of the easier barre chords to play, and they are easy to move between each other as well. So, even though there are two barre chords there is only one chord progression and one strum pattern so I would consider this an easy song. All you have to do is really practice those chords and you will get this song in no time! Acrade Fire - The Suburbs - Easy Ukulele Tutorial

Thanks Tyler! That's a great tune. I personally like to add an up strum after beat 2 (D DUDUDU). For some reason with the strumming pattern D D DUDU it reminds me too much of the Pixies, where is my mind. Thanks 🤘
