The difference between a beginner 12 bar blues and a tasty flashy blues is, and has always been, what you do over the last two bars. That turnaround is where the magic happens, so today we are ascending, descending, and just getting crazy! Enjoy the lesson.

Hola - Are these transposable for Open G tuning?

Tyler Austenfeld

Yep! Because the C string becomes a B note you would add +1 to all tabs on the C string, the E becomes a D and the A becomes a G, so any notes on the E and G string would be +2, for example, the riff that goes 0-1-2 on the C string would become 1-2-3 or the ascending turnaround that goes 2-3-4-5 on the A string would become 4-5-6-7, I bet they'd sound great open G with some slide! Great idea Steve.
