Today we are going to learn how to play a blues strummer tutorial in D. This is a great key and an easy one, there is a barre chord with the D, but in the video we show you the Hawaiian D7, which is much easier. I have attatched to PDFs, one with the chord shapes, but the links don't work, one without the chord shapes but the links do work. I am still trying to find a way to get the PDF files to include the chord diagrams but haven't found a really good way to yet. Also included is a link with the D blues scale, so you can jam with a friend!

Beginner Strummer Blues in D - Easy Ukulele Blues Tutorial

New Ukulele Tutorials every Wednesady and Saturday, subscribe and learn! Today we are going to teach you how to play a beginner blues in D. We will walk you through all the chords, the structure of the 12 bar, the turnaround, all the pieces, and than at the end we will put it all together in a fun strum along. This is a great style of music to play with other people as well. If you have a more advanced friend they can simply plug in the 12 bar blues structure and and strum on through while your friend improvises and takes solos. Blues is the best way for Ukulele players to learn to communicate with other musicians.
