Ocean Eyes - Billie Eilish - Easy Ukulele Tutorial

New Ukulele Tutorials every Wednesday and Saturday Today we are learning how to play "Ocean Eyes" from Billie Eilish. Pretty amazing that this song is already 4 years old. Her life has changed so much in the last four years from a young budding star on the rise up to a full fledged international mega uber super pop star grammy winning machine and this is one of the songs that set her off on that path. It is fairly easy to play with just 5 chords, if the G/B barre chord is too hard you can play a B and keep it just four chords, making it a lot easier. The song has no strum pattern but we will walk you though a couple of ideas that you can do if you want to add a strum to it. As a little bonus we will also teach you the melody to the verse so you can learn it, it is a lot easier to learn to sing a song if you play the melody first. I usually play it first, then I hum it, then I start to sing it. The hard part is I am not actually singing the notes on the Ukulele, in fact with this particular song I am actually singing the song two full octaves below what I am playing on the Ukulele. It is also a ton of fun to play with friends if one yo os the strumming the other can play the melody.
