Today we are going to learn how to play Future Days by Pearl Jam on the Ukulele. I like to do Pearl Jam songs because Eddie Vedder is such a ukulele enthusiast. I think if more major musicians picked up the jumping flea and started to play around with it they would have a tremendously fun time with it and decided that they would want it in their lives. I would love to hear a duet between Eddie Vedder and Paul McCartney on the Ukulele. This particular song is a deep cut, meaning it is a less popular tune of theirs, but there is a lot of value in learning these less popular songs. They aren't made for the radio, they often have less traditional song arrangements and feels, making them more interesting to play and an opportunity to learn some things about song writing and get inspired to create and perform some new ideas.

This song is very loose, something that we would call a "feel song" meaning that you can relax and strum free and easy, you don't need to play to a metronome, the groove doesn't have to be exactly in the pocket as long as you keep it moving. Play around with the dynamics of it, what I mean by that is strum some strums a little harder than others, and some emphasis, give it some groove.
