Today we are going to learn how to play Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye. This song is pretty tricky to get as there are 5 chords in just two measures and the song doesn't actually have a strum pattern. There is a guitar but the guitar is riffing over the chords in C minor, so to listen to the change in chords you have to listen to the bass. Once get that the bass groove down it is as ton of fun to play as it quick changes through the chords and adds a really cool bass riff at the end for a turnaround.

After the really cool groove through the verses there is a nice walk up walking through the minor chords into the major chords and the last walk up actually holds on the Ab and only pushes the bass up to the Bb instead of the entire chord, making for a really cool and groovy jam to play. Once you get to the chorus that is the closest thing that a traditional song as there the chords last for a whole measure, until you get to the 4th measure and you use that pre-chorus turnaround again the chorus, very cool song writing trick.
