Today we are going to learn how to play "Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson on the Ukulele. This one has it all, a fun riff, crazy strumming, and a chance to do the moon walk while you play! This song has a great riff that is a lot of fun to play and four pieces, an intro/verse, pre-chorus, chorus and post chorus. The post chorus is very simliar to the pre-chorus with a slight modification but enough that we can consider it its own piece. What makes this song so special and so much fun to play is the strum pattern. It is extremely unique and will take a little while to master but once you get it down you will be playing this song over and over and over again as it is that much fun to play!
The riff is very interesting and it can be played different if you have a low G as the lowest note is a G note. So we will break it down in two different forms, the low G version and the high G version, both with all the tabs on the screen, note for note, so no matter what version you are playing you will be able to rock it out.
